At first I was going to give a better review on 5 stars but here lately but then the past few months after purchasing this product. I believe the app is the issue considering when going and uninstalling and installing but it still doesn't correct the bugs that this system is having, furthermore the time frame and when reviewing film it doesn't line up with time given. It won't reset there's no way to really correct that issue and I have tried everything overall it's not a bad system but cheap.

This app and swift connection neither work properly with android 12. You can view your footage in low quality (LQ) but as soon as you switch to HQ in either app the app freezes. I've contacted them countless times to ask when they're going to support Android 12 and never got an answer. Both apps worked with Android 11. I can't recommend any Tigersecu products due to this. Now it doesn't work with android 13 either unless you use LQ only, not HQ. Swift Connection isn't even in the play store now.

Only 1 phone (mine) will connect to the cameras. All other devices will not connect despite ensuring the same info and taking all trouble shooting steps including factory resetting and starting from the beginning. Looks like a lot of people are having this issue, and all the feedback from the company is "thanks for the feedback." Of course customer service didn't answer the phone.

The app does not work. After using the provided QR code and putting my log-in information. It says it is up. But "technical issues." The provided Q&A help guided is a joke. Everyone knows to check the internet cable and power cord. To contact them to fix it, they want all your information, including your password. Yeah, you can change your password afterward. But the same problem comes up.

You guys need to fix the Android app. HQ remote viewing is pretty much unwatchable, and I've taken all of the steps that were told to others (reduce bitrate on the substream) and it made no difference. Works fine on CMS or on Apple devices. Since my phone is my primary source for monitoring, I'll be returning the DVR because the app isn't very good.

UPDATE UNUSABLE! I am prompted to give Tigersecur access "permissions" to use the app. When you click cancel, the same message appears over and over again until you give full access to your phone. Why do you need access to my camera, microphone, contacts, photo and video, location, and music and audio?? It's time to look for another security system that isn't invasive to personal data.

Works reliably and has some useful controls. But does need an update to make the camera to camera swipes more consistent. Sometimes the ability to swipe stops working and you have to exit the app and then restart. Also need ability to set default DVR that will automatically open to the default DVR when opening the app instead of having to click on a specific DVR. Thanks!

Not the best app to work with. But with the last update, I had to allow access to my contacts, videos, Photos, microphone etc. Why is all this needed for an app to work that only shows my cameras ? There are serious privacy issues here. And now since I upgraded to Android 14, the app has completely stopped working. I deleted the app, redownloaded it but it still doesn't work. It keeps crashing as soon as I open it. Definitely not compatible with Google Pixel running Android 14.
