The newest update makes the app less intuitive harder to use. It now defaults to public chargers instead of your private charger or last used. The history is somehow less useful and now all my charging sessions are labeled as "smart" and give some BS "savings" stat. 25kw still cost $4 Pre and Post update not sure how i "saved" $7 now. But the BEST new feature is it doesn't record all charging sessions, its missed 2 of the last 4. At least it changed the car.

The charger is of good quality but: plastic lock on the J plug is fragile and cable is too stiff in the cold. Ok for South US, forget it if you live up North. App provides basic function to schedule charge, limit the Amps (unfortunately not programmable) and track usage. REASON FOR THE 2 STARS: every few months, the App looses it's connection with the charger and cannot add back as it's "already registered to another user" 😬. 31/09/24: The App was updated and all charge history gone again 😡

very good unit. easy to use. have it set up so no one can steal power. sometimes have to reset that function as when I tell it to start charging it won't work. so I have to put it back to auto start. after a few uses, I can lock it up again. I still would recommend this product over all others. one thing I miss is you have to communicate through type chat. I prefer voice chat so you can clear up misunderstanding more easily.

Terrible App, difficult to use, keep finding things that just don't work. Follow up: These are just a few issues because not enough space here. Firmware update did not work as described and was extremely SLOW. Had to power cycle to get charger beyond 1.2kW.The setup and configuration is overly complex when it doesn't need to be. Setting the times and days should be much simpler than it is. And it should have some directions to avoid overlap. And no way to set summer/winter rates. And so on...

App was easy to set up and connect to my Maxicharger Home. Seems to show useful charging statistics, though they disappear when it stops charging. If you leave the app for a few hours and reopen it, it will say the charger is offline and that you need to connect via Bluetooth. There's a button to connect the Bluetooth, but when you tap it, it makes a click sound but otherwise does nothing. At that point you have to close and reset the app. After that, it seems to work ok again for a while.

Oct 2022 update makes it harder to adjust the power on the fly, since they removed it from the "View More" graph screen, and fails to fix the issue where the indicated max charge current on the main settings screen does NOT match my chosen setting at the time. So often have to adjust down from my absolute max (48 amps) versus starting from where it actually is, e.g., 6 amps. AND if you open the app by touching the "charging started" Notification, there is NO WAY to adjust charging amps at all!

The charger works well but I agree with the previous comments I have seen. I wasn't able to Charge History. After getting a response back from my review and called Autel support service representative Francisco. He was very polite and professional. I didn't have the charger linked up to my WiFi. I didn't give it much thought since I had a connection to my Bluetooth I had to change my 4-star rating to 5 stars because I am now able to see my Charge History. Bravo!

seems to work quite well. being able to track each charge session is nice and monitor amperage, voltage, kwh, cost. however I would like there to be a way to pull up a report on voltage measure at charging start, some interval during charge, and last voltage measurement at charging end (or charge interupted).
