Underwhelming. Official app for Yamaha equipped ebikes, but the app quality is very bad. In 3 hours it drained 60% of my battery. If you don't start an active ride you can't the remaining battery percentage, odometer, etc. All in all, bad and confusing UI, lack of functions when just connected to the bike. It feels like a school project, not an app for a multimillion dollar company.

Can't connect my Samsung S24 Ultra to Yamaha Interface X. Absolute useless app. Can't connect my ebike to my phone.

You could always add better maping or dashboard and the way you customize the dashboard...but what i dislike the most is the fact that even plug on the 1.2 amp usb (Yamaha pw-x3 motor with interface X) and pair the screen those time out and lock back up. So it make it a bit useless. And i can't seem to connect my garmin instinct 2 for heart rate even when it is broadcasted...

So far, it is working perfectly on my GasGas ebike with Yamaha's Interface X. Pairing was a bit of a fiddle, but I suspect that was more to do with me than the app. A few more skins would be nice, but not essential.

App disconnects randomly which is annoying miss out on ride data etc etc can we please sort this out otherwise app features are good

Terribly buggy app. I can't believe Yamaha have decided to develop a new ebike motor with Bluetooth connectivity (PW-X3) And then not make there own app, and leave this POS as only option to connect to the bike
