WHY ‘OENO’?
The app is named OENO after the Goddess of Wine. According to Greek mythology, Oeno was the great-grandaughter of Dionysus, God of the Grape Harvest and Winemaking, who gave her the power to transform water into wine.
‘Oeno’ (UK) is commonly used as a prefix for words semantically connected to wine such as in oenology, the study of wine – or oenophile, a wine lover.
OENO’s correct pronunciation is “eno” with a silent “o”. In fact, in American English, ‘oeno’ is written without the initial ‘o’ - ‘eno’.

UPDATE IN REPLY TO RESPONSE: I last heard from tech support 2 weeks ago. They requested screen shots which I provided. I have heard nothing since and it's still not working. Was a great app until it wasn't. Stopped working "oops something went wrong" can't even look at my wine list. Email was sent 2 weeks ago and I have not had any response.

The only app that actually let me manage my cellar and where bottles are stored so I can find them is now a useless brick that I can't even access. Nov '23, unable to login for 2 months. Awesome. Incredibly glitchy. Constant errors during scanning. Scan multiple bottles and zero register to shelve. Multiple text interpretation errors. Spent 45 minutes trying to log 12 wines, including an uninstall/reboot with no success. Back to the old system.

Recently getting "oops something went wrong". Was working well previously. Will not get past the start screen and gives error. Tried rebooting device twice. No luck. Can't add wine to my cellar or search since it won't continue post the start screen. No debugging or error information of available. I have over 100 bottles in the app.

App is nice looking but cellar editing is simply not possible. Trying to setup 3 bottles by layers, 6 shelves with 4-4-5-5-5-5 layers.. no way to get it right, even empty.. last layer get all bottles. Guys, it is basic manipulation of data for a piece of software.. Following support indication: email with screenshot sent.

Spent about 3 hours documenting and photographing half my first wine fridge. Within 2 days ALL wine labels have disappeared. I have emailed tech support through the app and email and received no help. Its not an easy job loading and unloading an entire wine fridge and it's very frustrating to feel I'm going to have to do it again in another app. But I can't trust this app now particularly as tech support is non-existent

The update to 1.42.7 didn't fix it. I've lost all labels again. I've been using this app for several months without issue. Recently, I lost all the scanned labels, so I only have text information. Some bug in the code i presume. I reached out to support twice over 3 weeks, but I've not had a reply. Now the app won't start at all. It was updated recently so that might be the issue. Poor coding and poor support

Generally works well. Cellar functions are a bit clumsy - would be great if can drag and drop bottles. Most annoying part is periodically it stops showing labels, at which point I need to reinstall. Losing a star there compared to when I first installed.
