On the one hand, the wayfinder lessons have explained concepts that I've struggled with and the way they describe language nuance is great. I also love the variety of activities, and customizing your dolphin is fun! On the other hand, the app asks for things that it hasn't taught yet (like word genders) and if I hadn't already been studying a while, I wouldn't know these answers. I kinda like that the app is slow bc it makes me think, but there's a lot of bugs & it's not optimized at all.

I had high hopes for the app since I had casually been following it's development for a while, and it seemed interesting. but having tested it out today for the first time. I can't help but to be disappointed, the app is very buggy, slow overall and I have a pretty modern Android phone which should easily be able to handle the app. I had the app freeze on me completely a few times. I also find that the mini games on their current state are just not fun, or really useful.

Extremely broken. First day I played it lagged like crazy, turned my phone into a space heater, and kept throwing "buy premium!!" ads in my face roughly every thirty seconds to two minutes. It displays an ad after every "lesson", and other than battles the lessons are really quick to get through. Plus the lag makes dismissing it a hassle as it keeps acting like I tapped the ad. Today I tried again. Lag wasn't so bad, but it won't let me progress past 35% of the second zone at all.

Awesome concept and very fun!! I love the turn-based-rpg style. It's satisfying to level up your dolphin. However there's some bugs.. The text option for deck review is not working, it always says correct. Also during battles: if my keyboard closes while answering a text input vocab question (like pressing the back button), since the enter button on the keyboard is gone, there is no way to continue forward and I have to restart a battle. Maybe include a submit button.

App would be really fun if it didn't have so many issues. Lots of bugs, typos, audio glitches (especially in the male voice), and to top it all off you get quizzed on words the app hasn't even taught you yet. I'm honestly disappointed in what was released due to how long we had to wait for Fluyo. Maybe it will get better over time but for now its a mess of problems that will make learning Japanese or any language more confusing than it would be without this app. Sorry Ikenna.

I've waited for this app's release for quite a while and wanted to like it, but there are just WAY too many bugs for it to be usable. Sometimes, the app will just stall on a screen without any selectable options on it. Sometimes, the audio choices won't have audio, and the lag is ridiculous. And while I appreciate what this app is trying to do, I really don't think it's doing anything that other apps aren't already doing. Maybe if the major issues get fixed, I can revisit this app in the future.

Unoptimized, unfinished, buggy. man i really wanna love this thing but i find myself barely able to use it. loading times are not only slow but S L O W, takes 2 minutes to load on a modern device. a lot of the art just straight up looks bad or ai generated, at least the game itself is fine but there are faster ways to learn. how should we want to come back every day when it's painful to even open?

The concept of creature battles, wayfinder lessons and games is good to learn and reinforce language. There's a lot of potential for Fluyo to offer a novel way of language learning. The app is still in development and doesn't have all features for all languages. For me, the French course is nice but somewhat subpar. The app is extremely laggy and it takes forever to load various screens. This is being resolved soon but the wait times is contributing heavily to a below average user experience.
