Update !! Still not able to connect to the dashcam even with the latest update . If it doesn't work out these days . I will need to return all the cam I have on warranty . After the update, It forgot the original password and it will not connect after restting . Edit .. still can't connect to the dashcam . It shows up in WiFi list . But it says couldn't connect . Tried every thing . Resetting the cam to factory settings . Reinstall the app . Still can't connect

Completely useless app. Bought the dash cam, and when trying to use the app, it won't allow me to see the recorded files. Keeps saying you have not allowed permission, but when I try to allow it doesn't work. Also when connected to the camera I don't have access to the internet because it uses wifi. Returned the camera and un-installed the app. Won't buy hikvision again.

App constantly has a bug. Ive had to reset this device many mutliple times in order to get it to connect and now after about the 5th or 6th time it just wont connect at all on the app. Keeps sending an error message saying "couldn't connect to device because app has a bug". Ive barely owned the device for more than a few months.

HikeVision's dash cam is a regrettable purchase.unreliable performance, and lackluster features make it a complete waste of money. The video quality is disappointing, capturing blurry and distorted footage, failing to serve its primary purpose effectively. Additionally, the device often malfunctions, frequently freezing or shutting down unexpectedly. The promised features lack consistency, with the motion detection and loop recording functioning inconsistently or not at all.

Pathetic experience. 1. Showing error while connecting app. 2. Apps crashes continuously. 3. NO MEMORY CARD warning flashes even using dash cam specific memory card. Waste of money, time and efforts.

App is not user friendly even as IT person it take time to understand and fix issues. For those got connection problem should be connect to app wifi externally and enable auto connect. For those have date time problem just go to app setting>DST, enable DST and disable again it should be updated the date. Hope it will help andriod users.
