Since Android M 6.0, access bookmarks from 3rd party application is disabled, so Super Backup cannot backup and restore bookmarks.

★Important Notice #3
If you schedule automatic backups, and you use some apps such as Task Killer or Memory Clear, please make sure you had add Super Backup into their White List or Ignore list. Otherwise Super Backup can not run in background, and automatic backups will not work.

★Important Notice #4
When you finished the SMS restore process, but the messages were not displayed in your default SMS app, please try to reboot your device.

Great app! Someone here complained about the fact that all past and future calendar entries are included in the backup AND in the restore. That's exactly the feature that I'm looking for and that is a great feature!!!! Backing up the calendar includes ALL agenda entries and that's great. Storing capacity is cheap and the info is always useful.

Please fix it. When the selected language is Indonesian, the application name changes to "Video Compression", even though it should still be "SuperBackup". It seems like there is a bug, because if you use another language such as Dutch, the application name becomes "selfAppPromotion". I hope the application developer will release and fix the name soon. Please fix it in the next update.

The Good: No data shared. The Bad: Doesn't work completely. Lost some plain SMS messages. No group messages were saved. RCS chats aren't saved, encrypted or not. I lost from a few days to a few years of dialogue of texts. Also, it didn't back up apps to the cloud like it does everything else, so I had to reinstall apps one by one. The layout/workflow is not intuitive, so it took multiple tries to figure out how things work.

Have used this app for years and despite the initial annoying adverts for other apps, was usable. The developer has now gone full on into adverts at every turn. Happy to pay the lifetime subscription if the scheduled backups were working but they are not and it's nothing to do with battery optimisation. I am now looking for another app. Don't touch this one., it's lost its way and doesn't do what it's supposed to do. No option for zero stars so going for 1 instead

I tried to move sms and calendars between 2 phones. I've installed 4 different applications and none of them worked ok. Finally being very tired, I've tried with this one and.... for sms it works fine, for calendar events unfortunately some were duplicated and I don't know why! Edit: I tried to use it to move calendar items from Android 8 to Android 14 and... unfortunately the items seems to be backuped and restored but there is nothing in new calendar? Problems with some items types?

Hey Android users don't use this app if you have more than 10000 thousand conversations, it won't restore i lost my very important messages it's stuck while restoring messages i tried more than 100 times to restore my messages just they are fooling people.. Don't trust the app...

it has been working fine for quite few years. only problem that i am facing now is that while restoration of contacts after a phone reset, it changes the name of some contacts to some other in the list which is very much misguiding . this bug should be attended and repaired immediately.

I am unable to change backup file location whenever I try to change it gives an error. And some backup files' icons are not visible and those apps are not installable by all app installers in my device very limited app of those can install these files only. (20 Feb, 2025)
