Update: After Feb 1 update, it is still not working. The app is stuck at the phone verification screen. United States is not in the list, never received the OTP. I've been using IMO and IMO HD for free for a couple of years now. However, my IMO stopped working in the USA since Jan 13. My contacts from other continents don't show up in the app and all my past conversations are lost. Please suggest.

Tap anywhere that you expect to do anything (like taking you to someone's profile) and it will start calling them. I still keep being called by people for split seconds. It just keeps asking to be allowed access to contacts, then if you allow it, it will keep asking to invite your friends. The app has superb call and video quality, if only they could get rid of their UI/UX personel and replace them with some random people from the street, the app would become great.

Quality of calls is reasonably good but I am devastated by how much annoying is this app. It overwrites Do Not Disturb mode and rings anyway. A full screen caller ID pops up whenever you get a call (even if you are in another app, let's say an online game) and you can only minimize it and it will block some of your screen unless you reject the call. You cannot get rid of vibration even if you minimize or hit volume down key. It keeps vibrating, again, unless you reject the call. At the end, when the caller gives up, you will be taken to the home screen of the app which prevents you from continuing your business and you have to close the app and go to your desired application. All in all, I am looking for an alternative app which would give me a reliable call quality to just uninstall this and be free of its annoying features.

I've had this app for years and it was okay. I guess in the last update, some features were removed... I uninstalled it this morning and reinstalled it only to find out that USA is no longer in the list of countries, and I can't verify my number now. I also JUST checked the reviews to see that this issue has been going on for at least 3 weeks with no resolution. Your technical team sucks.

IMO was excellent for years, today I lost all history and tried to uninstall and reinstall, and now I am getting an error message. It indicates that I have an invalid phone number which is wrong. I have a USA number 1-718....I have sent several emails to IMO support and received no response. I also noticed that the download in Google Store shows 1M+ download when it should be 500M+. Wonder if it is legit. Now someone here will respond saying that they will forward this to technical support and I will get no answer. Can anyone please help??? I really need this app to work. THANK YOU

After using the app with no problem for over a year, it suddenly keeps asking me to verify, my number, then repeatedly asks me to enter a valid number. This is the same number I've used since installing the app. I can receive calls but can't initiate them. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, but have the same problem. I would have rated it a 4 or 5 before this happened, but it's worth zero stars to me now. Such a disappointment!

The features during the video call is great. I can send pics and chat with others while remaining in my call. I can set up a group chat and talk to more than one person at a time. The only complaints I have that made me rate it 3 stars is that my phone runs extremely hot every time I use this app and the call clarity can be terrible at times. Fix this and you get 5 stars easy

This used to be a decent way to communicate with my family back home. Now, it only shows local contacts!! I see everyone else facing this issue. I don't understand why it is taking you people this long to fix it!! If you can't fix it, at least revert back to a previous version that worked!! It has been over two weeks since I have started facing this issue and you have not fixed it. Looks like you do not care about your ratings. I am uninstalling this app. Will go with others that work. (I feel like that is exactly what you guys want. So, Good Bye!)
