I've only used the app once, but like the method to learn words so far! Some of the illustrations may not always be the most obvious, they tell you the English word you're trying to learn too when first introduced, which helps. I'm looking forward to seeing how well this works over the longer term with daily practice and may change review later.

About 5 years ago none of these issues were present: not family friendly (doesn't support traditional family & society values, promotes diviative lifestyle and values already at the 3d page after you start the app), it is a mandatory requirement for the user to create an account, without one you're not even able to use an extremely limited (3min per 24hrs) free materials (I have found a workaround it but it seems to have been patched). Overall value of this app is close to 0 due to these aspects.

It's ok, but from what I've seen so far, it doesn't teach grammar and always matches words to pictures, so if you forget what a picture represents, then you'll have to go back through the catalog of learned words to find that picture you couldn't remember and it's associated word.

A very refreshing take on language learning, it's interactive and comes in 5-minute lessons. Fun! Though IMHO I was hoping that Drops will also offer another option to users buy a small package of time / credits. I'm the sort of person who has signed up for monthly subscription of stuffs only to forget about it and then being reminded every single time my credit card bills arrive 😂😂

The app has an attractive appeal to it and you can track your learning. It's worth the 1 month membership if you are visiting a foreign country for 1 month. However just about all the app is good for is vocab building and any linguist would tell you that there is a lot more to learning a language then that. I think there needs to be a far greater emphasis on everyday language and learning correct phrases rather than singular words.

Seems like a fun way to learn Viet but there's not enough definition between pictures. Particularly in the 'foodie section'. Most the pictures have minor differences and can be misleading. Like bag, meal and breakfast Otherwise, I love the app and I'm looking forward to using it more

Like associating words with pictograms. Have looked for apps settings but cannot find anything in the menus to adjust speed. Need to slow down the speaker while maintaining pitch so can practice pronunciation (eg; trung in first lesson). Almost impossible to understand sound at the beginning of this word; assume there will be many more examples of this.

UPDATE: The constant stream of wrong translations is tiring after a few days on premium and I'm exhausted and no longer care about this app. I hate how this app pressured me into paying for a subscription. This app turned from being a fun vocab game to a nightmare of not knowing what translations to trust and what not to. Even though I paid $45 for a subscription I'm canceling even though that will be a complete loss of money for me. I'm not going to spend more time sending in corrections.
