This app uses the Accessibility API to provide features that interact with the UI, intercept key presses, take screenshots, read “toast” messages, determine foreground app and capture fingerprint gestures.
This app uses the Device Administrator permission to provide features that check for failed login attempts and engage screen lock.

The most powerful automation app that you can use for free. Samsung is basic while Tasker is payware doesn't even offer a trial. Settings like WiFi on/off do not return to the pre-flow state when condition no longer met. So you need more complicated logic for setting changes to working especially after restarting phone. Significantly more powerful than Samsung routines or IFTTT, but interaction with UI pales when compared to Tasker but let's not forget that automate is free.

works great! 👍 got it only to move my screenshots right after taken to anywhere outside the DCIM folder to avoid dumb Google Photos backing them up to "the cloud". Easy to learn, simply to use, does what you need. Remember to exclude it from battery and background restrictions, otherwise it's gonna stop working depending on your phone's energy settings. Keep in mind it will stop working anyways after updates and sometimes after restarting your phone, not a hassle, simple as running it again.
VAST THE DOGE
I was looking for an alternative to Samsung Modes and Routines since there is a cap of 50 routines. This is the replacement I was looking for. No ads, no premium features so far, great UI, and very powerful. Also, it is very easy to use if you have programming experience. My only two complaints so far are that the await time cards should display the day off the week when that's the only thing set, and that the setting wallpaper card should allow you to crop the image.

Does what it says, and does so excellently. The user interface is easy enough to use, as you can select from a list of options instead of having to memorise command names. But in case you do want to use command names, you still can. The logic of flow and fibre takes a bit to understand but once you do it's easy to understand what's going on with your flows.

Unfortunately trying to figure out how to do anything on this is a headache. I wanted to find out a way to make the app automatically turn on/off my DNS setting but trying to navigate anything on this is impossible, it either just straight up isn't there or I have to navigate through 20 different blocks hoping one of them has anything related to that. Turns out, they don't, the only thing I've been able to find is related to the DNS ip address which isn't what I need. Bare bones is all 🤷♂️

One of the best automation apps especially when your phone is not rooted. You can add tiles, lock mechanics with double tab, all kind of routines, vibrations on call connection for phones that do not have this options, caffeine like quick tile and soo many more things

[edit] after a phone reboot, the app is often blocked on a release note pop up. The problem is that it forbids flows to start, until we press ok. But the app stays in the background, not visible Thanks. Not perfect, but pretty good and useful. Documentation could be better and propose more examples and in depth explanations. Fork for example: I wrote flows using multiple fork and loops which generated hundreds of threads in the end! I had to duplicate flows, which is not very pretty "coding".

It does the thing on my phone where the app appears to be only able to be "deactivated" instead of uninstalled (based upon the playstore options as I don't want to uninstall. The developer's response provides insight), but despite this, this app is the type of extension I wish was on smart phones by default. Programming can be a little technical and difficult to understand at first, but the freedom you are given to program in simple "apps" makes me realize how limited smartphones really can be.
