CAA Connect® is a free driving monitor app from CAA Insurance Company available to CAA connect customers in Ontario that can help you save up to 15% on your current car insurance renewal. Plus, you’ll save 5% just for signing up. The Connect App automatically detects your car’s movements, tracks your trip and provides scores based on your driving habits to help you save more on your car insurance.Plug in your in-vehicle device and download the app to start driving smarter and get rewarded with reduced insurance rates.

First impressions aren't great. There's no 'remember me' setting on the app & you must re-enter the long membership number on every login; very frustrating. At least one person has mentioned this flaw in reviews..2 yrs ago. The device, although installed and flashing (even went for a 10 min drive) is still showing as not activated in the App. What to do? I think I got a glimpse of the full app once, but now only see the device link page again. Like I said...not great.

Just got my dongle for the car. Installed easily. The accompanying app though is really annoying. I would like to check my driving from time to time. It takes forever for the app to load the login info! Quite often it just freezes. I would have thought that a corporate made app would work better than this. Very frustrated.

Not sure if it's the App or the odb dongle that is a problem. Had to replace 2 dongles for 2 of my cars and the issue is still there. It has reported 5 instances in one second. I have a kia rio 2009 and a dodge caravan 2015 not some dance sports car where this could be possible. I am just keeping this device since I will at least get the 5% discount. If not it's just a piece of garbage setup for one to fail. Oh and yes I was now also told that my car is all of a sudden not compatible with this.

OMGOSH!!! This app sucks!! Please tell me someone from CAA cares enough for it's customers to read these reviews and take action. It freezes all the time. So my experience, I have two cars listed on the app. I select one car and than the only thing I can do is scroll down, nothing else works., it 🥶. Than I shut down the app and 35-40 minutes later login again and check the stats for my other car. Absolutely ridiculous!! CAA why offer an app for this program if the app does not work ???

Terrible! I am new to CAA insurance. My cars were hooked up 3 days ago but the app won't let me past the link policy page. It says my devices are not activated. I installed them as per the instructions and verified they were working by observing the flashing lights. Disappointing.

You think that they've fix the problem since 2019. Installed in both vehicles and drove around, still hopeful that this trash works, big failure for CAA. Wasting my time with technology, I plugged it in where you only can. Thumbs down.

I have to log on every time. Which means entering my user name and password. Very inconvenient. Also it still does not recognize that I have turned activated my device after nearly one month. Don't bother.

You can login but after that the app is slow and glitchy so you have to keep closing it and opening it again. Even when you do that it barely works other than giving you your score. No ads though.
