Edit: The login does some weird things. I'll use my fingerprint and it starts logging in, says there was an error, so I should try later, and then immediately logs me in 🤷♂️ Not awful, but could be better. I think the app now being titled "my energy center" is a little deceiving. Still just SDGE of course. The price breakdown window is nice. But that function was already present in the old app.

This app is easy peasy. I have absolutely no troubles with it. Very easy to pay bills.. navigate throughout the whole entire app.

Just an FYI for anyone and everyone - I signed up for their "autopay" and when logging in it says My payment is scheduled for the due date. However, I discovered that this is not true. It takes several billing cycles for automatic payments to start working. SDGE does not tell you this, so unless you happen to check on the payment, it will just sit there unpaid for who knows how long. Typical BS from a company that exists solely to extract money from people who need it and give it to the rich.

Stoopid name change... Spent 20 minutes looking through my apps and gave up. Eventually had to Google search for "SDG&E App". What stupid reason did your management give to change the app to this useless name? The same as Vons changing their app to "food app" and expecting a magical fairy to whisper the name to me when I need it. BTW I have several "energy" related apps.

This name change was ill-informed and stupid. The name of a major app should contain the name of the company that it represents. SDGE or some derivation of San Diego Gas and Electric should be in the app name, or the developer name. This was updated behind the scenes, I did not know what the app was for until I opened it. Worse, it does not appear in the Android apps when SDGE is searched, which makes it clear how insular, narcissistic and self-absorbed the development and marketing teams are.

Pretty presumptuous, My Energy Center, I'm sorry but no. Shouldn't change names for no real reason. Should have warned about change. I deleted it thinking it was bogus then couldn't find it in play store. Wish there was another electric supplier so I could really show you how unhappy I am. And what do you have to do with water?

Doesn't like a rooted phone for some reason, but I was able to just put it on the deny list. It at least was able to give me an estimate of when the power would return after a blackout so have to give a star for that

If you fail to login 3 times the system locks you out and tells you to call a number for assistance. Problem is the number stays on the screen for about 2 seconds. It should just stay there.
