9/1/24 I unistalled the app and reinstalled it. Now it is working! Hip Hip Hooray!!! 8/30/24, the app is still not able to connect to the internet. No matter what connection is being used, phone's or Wifi. This device is a Samsung S24 Ultra. Yesterday:Since a few hours ago, the app indicates there is no internet when other apps like KCRW have no issues. This is a very new issue that has been happening since a few hours ago.

The newest version is just so-so. It has some features that work and fixes a long-standing bug, but certain podcasts that used to work now appear to have no content and are unplayable. The ads are irritating but understandable -- donations probably aren't keeping up, so you need more revenue. Fine. Edit: several weeks later and still certain shows appear, but have no playable content on the platform. 😕

Update: they must have updated the app. It works well again, and has a new format- hallelujah. App worked fine for a year, and now won't connect to the internet. I uninstalled and reinstalled, no joy. Checked permissions, restarted phone- all my other apps are working fine. I really miss this one.

Better than before, especially episode summaries but still has persistent glitches, like stopping every 5 to 10 min when the phone is on dark screen mode and frequently can't switch between programs without closing the app. Still, I appreciate all the great, free programming.

Suddenly, it became completely unusable. NO INTERNET CONNECTION - PLEASE CONNECT AND TRY AGAIN. Yet all other apps on my phone work fine on wifi or cellular connection. I've un/reinstalled the app twice to no avail. Since it won't load, I can't check the app settings. My monthly contributions hard at work!?!?

Always plays an ad when you return to the app, even if you just heard one moments before, stops working saying "no Internet connection" when every other app connects just fine. Seems like maybe some kind of VPN blocking might be involved in that? Anyway, I really want this app to be good, but it's forcing me back to "I &$#@ Radio".

When it works it's OK, but it often does not. Latest problem is that I'm getting no internet connection error, even though I am connected - other apps work fine. Tried reinstalling, deleting cache, deleting all stored data, but same error. At the moment, it doesn't work at all

Reliability WAS POOR for Android users on a "good day." Now exceptionally unreliable, e.g. "cannot connect, check internet" after the latest software update of this app last month assured everyone more stability. As this is where I get my daily NPR and related podcast content, I'll move on to another station after 30 yrs. The Service Support phone number on the app is disconnected. Like the app itself... oh well, good things never last. Keep up all that new branding. Can't connect to that either
