Requesting help! My messaging classic app has not been working properly 2 weeks, and now not at all. This has been my favorite / only messaging app for 20 years! 2 weeks: whenever I delete one message, it now deletes all of them. Driving me crazy, it deleted a lot of ongoing message conversations. Today I uninstalled / reinstalled the app, and now it will not work at all, it keeps closing during initial optimization. I tried to uninstall and reinstall it four times today. Nothing. Help!?

Since the last upgrade this has not worked properly. I select messages to delete, but it deletes other messages instead... important messages I needed to keep. When I pull up my contacts to search for someone the pictures are all the same person but not actually the person I'm searching for. Please go back to how it was!

It's so hard being forced to find a new messaging app I l9se track of which ones I've tested so I gotta review all tested ones so I know why to stay away... can't send mms even after changing settings no themes at all, chats show up as numbers not names

The update is awful, I've lost half of my messages that I had from my parents which has really upset me. I can see it in the backup but it won't let me restore it and I'm dreading loosing it. I used to be able to lock messages where I now cant. Now I can't send a text it just says schedule for later which is no good to me at all. Please bring back the old version there was nothing wrong with it and I could use it and save messages easily. Also where does it back up to?

Get rid of this app. It's lost data for no reason. Deleted important messages e and there is no support.

This was my go to message app for years until ads started appearing. It's bad enough having an ad banner at the bottom of the screen all the time, but If you try to go back from a conversation to the list of all chats you run into a whole screen advert. The only way to escape is to close the app and start again. This has made it virtually unusable in real life so I have uninstalled and gone with Google messages instead where you can disable ads and RCS features

I have used this app forever and was very happy doing so. Recently there was this supposed upgrade that other people have mentioned. Now I am having all the problems they describe but I am also having ads and links pop up every time I try to do anything. I have to back out of the app, if it will let me, or otherwise exit everything, to get to the next message, etc. Also, it is not showing all the contact pictures, and my messages are getting cut off on the left side of the screen.

The giant ad space in my message window is horrible. I've always wanted the private text app to work without taking over as my messnger. If it was able to only sort the messages I want to go into the hidden folder and let thw rest go to my default that would be AWESOME and I would pay for that. But if it was a more polished app I wouldn't mind as much and would more than likely pay a lesser premium. I'm waiting for an ad free option to install.
