ALERT🚨: You MUST move the USBLockit.exe file into the USB drive itself for it to work. Those getting the "Not Fat32/exFat" error are trying to open the file from their PC download or other PC folder. Move the file into the USB drive, then open it on your PC (from within the USB files) and it will work just fine. Hope that helps 👍 Great app to move files from PC to Android and back securely. Note: Be sure to Lock the drive and unmount properly before removing from your PC or Phone 👍

Seemed to work, at first on my zfold5, but trying to use it on my Windows computer, all I got was the "Not fat32/exfat" error. Their website FAQ says "For PC copy it to USB drive" WHAT does that even mean? Copy what? Copy When? You cannot copy anything to the drive at that point because Lockit has changed it to 0 bytes available. And now, when I plug it into my zfold5, I get the same stupid message. So, my 1.5TBs of backup data is inaccessible. I have to waste hours to back up again 😛

It locks and stops you accessing the drive on windows and android systems. That makes you think great only I can access my data. But your data is not safe at all. Simply plug the usb into a Linux system and you can access all the files and data on the drive without any issues nothing is blocked so anyone with Linux can easily see your data. So for anyone who's forgotten there password and wants to recover data just plug it into a system using Linux.

Locked and cannot reformat on windows? Try this. Google how to format usb using command prompt (cmd). Follow the steps. You would have to use the diskpart command and create a partition or reset the partition back to default. Not that hard step by step instructions are available online. Do it and your USB should be good to go. WARNING! DOING THE ABOVE WILL FORMAT / DELETE ALL YOUR FILES DO IT ONLY IF YOU HAVE NO ISSUES WITH FORMATTING AND LOSING THE INFO IN YOUR USB DRIVE.

The Windows version of this app is flagged by Malwarebytes as Trojan, which is a big warning! The Android app (v4.6), however, has come out clean. The app locks the attached USB disk and cannot be accessed on any device without unlocking it. CONs: 1. You have to remember to 'LOCK' it before unmounting it, else all files will be accessible when plugged in to other devices. No autolock feature. 2. There is no support for macOS. 3. Restart warning notification keeps showing up on Android.

This is brilliant. Simple, effective & exactly what I need. If only someone could create this lock for micro SD cards. I don't understand why other people are experiencing problems. I've been using this with memory sticks on my phone (Android platform) & my desktop & laptop computers (Windows platform) just about daily for 12 months now with never the slightest hitch. As for malware - none on any of my devices. A big thank you to the developer for a really useful app.

Worst Apps, Even Should Remove from Play Store..Aftet locking it when you try to unlock it Show Wrong Password even you are yousing the correct password.. Its Fairly Harmful / Spam app I lost my Important Data my childhood pictures & Documents. Play Store should take Action against it.🙏
