I'm glad I have these devices but lately the app is buggy. I'll frequently get a notification for a video that then won't appear on my timeline at all. If I don't watch it from the notification, the video appears to be lost. Also seems to be detecting less (valid, human) motion.

You pay $80 for the devise and then this app blocks out the screen randomly with advertising and would not allow you to go back to the app unless reboot. At this point it becomes a malware. What an awful way to run a service...please figure out other way to motivate a customer to buy your unnecessary 'premium' services.

It used to be a good app. Now, even on a paid subscription, I need to close two or three pop-up ads every time I open the app before I can do anything with it, like changing the mode for example.

-Warning for this company- With a promise of never charging me a monthly fee, ever, I bought this device. It was all a lie. It's getting worse and worse. They have removed timeline playback among a lot of other things. It's a scam company. The hardware probably also need to be second generation before it is stabile. And to top it all, they just added annoying ads to the app before watching stream. Missed recordings, missed activations the list of flaws is long. Do not buy this product!

Imagine paying full price for a camera. Then you download the app to get started. Then the app has unskippable ads randomly when you're trying to use it. I sure hope it doesn't decide to serve an ad while I'm using the app for actual security concerns. But wait there's more! I hope you're ready for yet another subscription in your life because Canary paywalls features they advertise in their marketing behind the "Premium Service". The camera is fine, just featureless without premium turned on.

Useless...too many updates unneeded features rendering monitoring off-line...now app incompatible with my phone. 😞 Just awful...We bought expensive cams we can't use

This has been a struggle. After I bought a SECOND camera they told me my original camera can no longer be updated or used at all because it's obsolete and when I called pushed me to buy a third at a discount. They charged my annual subscription twice in 1 year because of this second camera and they can't combine two on to one account?!?

love the canary app and camera software. wish they had more options of cameras. when recording viedo you know what time it is at each second of the viedo. super easy to bookmark a viedo to be able to come back to it.
