Previously 1 star... Great app but it keys up on its own at a 1 sec rate. At first i thought it was my "server" (node). So i uninstalled/reinstalled and attempted to use the internet mode only. I connected to a node, and it started keying up. I had to hangup. I hope the authors have heard about this and have a resolution, because the concept is great. (KD2WIR) UPDATE: After reaching out to support, I was given excellent, personal assistance and they lead me to the correct setup Works Great!

Best digital ham solution. It is one wonder for DMR/Dstar/C4FM/NXDN. The audio is great on a Motorola Phone, the reports are great too. Switching modes is a breeze. Excellent client for my 2 servers. I can't praise enough the work of the developers. It brings all the digital voice modes at the tip of your fingers. It is easy to configure and works flawlessly. Best contribution to HAM radio ever!

App is fantastic. I am using it in DMR mode now with the analog bridge / md380 emu running on a virtual server and audio has been fantastic. Others report good audio. Even purchased a cheap $14.88 android prepaid phone to use just for this purpose, make a great addition and makes it possible to get on the air when a radio is dead or unavailable. Highly suggest that anyone who gets the app to spend the $1.99 to upgrade for the extra features as I did and support further development. Thanks...

Awesome, almost never hear the electonic digital audio you can hear when using a hotspot. Using this app has made ham comms even better, its almost always as clear as a phone call quality., except when someone is talking from the droidstar app, then you do hear it. One annoying thing is people's audio. While most sound normal, there are some people with really loud audio so you keep having to turn the volume up and down. (Note : its not a fault in the app, its people using a high mic gain)

This is a great little app that I have been using to access my allstar node whilst away from home. It took me a bit of fiddling around to set up, as I really had no idea what I was doing. But now it's up and running it is great. The DVswitch groups.io is also great for support when getting set up, I had answers to questions very quickly. 73 Robert 2E0ZWH

Unable to login to get token in WT mode, followed directions to a "t" double checked password, changed password at allstarlink... still unable to login. Support forums are worthless, and the fact the mobile and non-mobile app use the same name is a goole for an answer worthless. Would love to use, but.. Update: It doesn't support non AlphaNumeric passwords... and that was my cause. While allstar's site supports it. DVSWitch is unable to login if they're in your passwords.

It's pretty much undocumented. Or extremely poorly documented at best. I am glad I found this because I was thinking about putting up an All-Star node. I am sure that there is a way to access it from a computer or any Android device. But no one seems to be able to explain how to do that. They start talking about changing configuration files that I can't even find. It is ASSUMED you would know these things. Modes like DMR, DSTAR, FUSION, Are popular because they are well documented.

Using it with a pi 3 and an USB ambe stick and it is perfect. One issue though: somehow on my LG G5 with Android 8.0 it does not save the contents in accounts, so unusable for now. On my other phones with Android 6 and 7 there are no issues whatsoever. Thank you for a great app 73 de Pat W3PO
