While open, it disables and hides your navigation keys on Android. It takes forever to respond and sometimes just doesn't. I just spent 20 minutes to turn my aircon on and it kept just not accepting the command. It doesn't link with home automation very well (can't adjust zone % output through automation, can't turn on based on solar output etc). If you're going to make an app for automation, don't make it less effective than going downstairs and using the controller manually.

I just updated the app as my retic controller (idrate) was not showing correctly... Massive mistake. What did you do with all the functions? What happened to local connection, now I have to go through the worldwide cloud login? I can book longer differentiate between sprinklers and aircon zones All functionality now lost

I will never pay for an aircon with wifi capability again. The app becomes unresponsive on my phone and frequently loses connection to the aircon on the main panel (also an Android tablet). Unfortunately it's the only way to control the aircon.

Izone, take a moment to pause on growth of services you control, pay attention to the user experience. I can't very well trust izone with further control of more services if it's such a poor experience so far. Make the app faster and more responsive. Easier to use overall. Get an accessiblity and UX review done as a starting point and prioritise from there. Good luck. I'll hang on a bit longer.

App opens slowly, stays on splash screen for a long time. Changing settings doesn't always work, you have to wait and watch for 5-10 seconds to see if the setting you changed reverts itself back or not. When it does revert back you just have to try set it again over and over until the setting sticks. You can't select a scene in the recipes. You can't see your normal android buttons (home, back, etc) as the app goes full screen everytime. Overall a poor experience but has lots of potential.

1) changing 'air flow' changes settings - moves climate into open. Why? Nobody knows. It also does it WITH A DELAY because the app is SLOW (2)- so most of the time you don't realise the setting has changed - and then you have to wait to change back! (3) the scenes turn on using "latest used mode" and NOT the mode you set up when creating the scene. So that "warm babies room" actually cools the room at 3am! Why are you spending time changing slider colour colours!? Fix your 1 star app!

The app is so slow! There is zero care from the creators otherwise they would have fixed it by now!

Edit- do not update this app. By updating they required that I give them data, but more pertinently, the app asks me to connect a device I do not own to my router to make my aircon work. Anyone who suggests using this, punch them in the sack. Cretinous. Two issues- 1) you have to do a pull down refresh to tell you what state your system is in. It took me ages to work out why I would click on and it wouldn't come on. 2) at the moment it is regularly hanging on the blue screen "loading devices."
