About this App

This multipurpose App is for the promotion of Civic Education in India and to provide Area wise database of Blood Donors available; and when it becomes fully functional, to raise SOS alerts in any emergency situation.

This App provides instant information about the availability of blood donors either PIN code wise or City/Town wise to the needy patients and nearby Hospitals/Blood Banks, to discourage the professional donors, if such system is still prevalent due to shortage of blood, so that the system of professional donors is completely eliminated as directed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India. [AIR 1996 SC 929].

On and after fully functional, by clicking the Press-to-Call Function, which is a part of this App, the brainchild of Citizen Force Foundation For Citizens, a Nationwide Charitable Organization licensed by Central Government of Indian and incorporated under Central Act No. 1 of 1956 as Section 25 Company, a person in distress may seek for the assistance of local emergency service delivery departments including the volunteers of Citizen Force through the App.

This App will send emergency alerts with the user's details (name, age, emergency contacts) and location information, along with a generated call to the State Emergency Control Room and the person’s emergency contacts. The system forwards the emergency alert to nearby online local Citizen Force Volunteers, who registers through this App or website, if available. The emergency alert is notified with an audible sound/ visual alert on the volunteer smart phones. The volunteers can mark their consent to help and the volunteer details along with photo and contact number will be forwarded to the person in distress.
