Oct 2024 Update - I stopped using this app for a couple years and I'm amazed to see the same old clunky, not-built-for-android silliness on return. I can't believe nothing has changed. On Android, you need to navigate around errors by going thru unintuitive process of turning off your mobile data in order to connect to their camera. Veo, as of 2024, androids are close to 70% of all phones. Get your priorities strait. Dropping score from 4 to 2.

I paid for the subscription and was told I will still be able to access even if subscription is not renewed. I opened the app and was not able to play any of the videos. The video quality was great sometimes, and other times, it was blurry and glitchy. It would even freeze up. I would rate higher but the expensive subscription and was lied to about accessing videos without the subscription.

VEO 2 here, 2 stars because I like the app and it's offerings. But it SUCKS on connecting to the camera. I go through app deletions and reinstalls, force stops, you name it. Finally get it going. Mind you, it was perfect, just perfect prior to the latest update AND the arrival of VEO 3. We now almost always miss the beginning of games (fiddling with the app), where before, not a single time.

The camera is nice. The AI works well. To connect the camera to your phone you need to start the camera and let it sit for 5 minutes for it to boot up properly. Once it is finished booting then connect the phone to the camera. The problem I have is getting the camera to stream reliably. I have a wifi hotspot with good cell service and the camera rarely able to keep connection. It might need a more flexible stream speed. No score, no clock. Those must be added. It is why I bought the camera.

Veo app is basic. Recent April 2022 update is an improvement. Now shows battery % on the main screen. Also indicates a "disconnected" warning on the main screen if/when you're too far from the camera. Definitely nice because previously you had to guess (since the record timer was still ticking, and sometimes the live camera would freeze on my phone).

Veo2 owner. App is unreliable. I give myself 10 minutes before each game to fiddle with the app. I typically go through a process of uninstalling the app, clearing cache and data, resetting the Veo camera, combinations of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on/off and about 40% of the time the camera is broken and we miss the game. The product and subscription service is much too expensive to not work. Never be in a situation where you make a commitment where this device is required.

This app is terrible. You might lose your recordings if you don't save them at the end of the game. You can't delete a WiFi network entry, and if you mistype the password like I did, you're stuck. Typing the correct password afterwards doesn't fix it. Given how flimsy the coding is, I wouldn't trust it to keep my WiFi password safe. But I can't delete entries. About the device itself, upload speed is terribly slow - 250kB/s and each video is 9GB approx. At such a high cost, it's a real shame.

This app is terrible on Android. On the Veo1, I gave up and just used the web interface instead. Now with the Veo2, I have to use the app. It is a disaster. It rarely connects, and even rarer to actually successfully start a live stream. The upload status for a video sits at 0%, even though the exact same time, the app on an iPhone shows it making progress. Please put some effort into making this app actually work now that we have to use it with the Veo2. **March, 2023 - Getting better.
