Love the podcast, hate the app. The app constantly pauses itself and I constantly have to keep clicking play and it doesn't matter what privileges I give it. I wish there was a new app for Red Eye Radio. (UPDATE 03/17/2025) THE NEW APP IS ACTUALLY USEABLE! feels like it's been a decade that I've wanted to use their app but it never worked so I just kept with iHEART Radio. IT WORKS, FINALLY!

This update has DESTROYED the app. Love Red Eye Radio. Used to listen to the first half later in the day. Now you can't even get the show to start before a full page ad covers everything and you can't even start the show playing. Every update in the last year has made it harder to start or restart listening. Uninstalled app and won't try it again. The developer should be banned from destroying other apps. DESERVES NEGATIVE 10 STARS

This program is unreliable. Plays for a few minutes, then stops. Have to start at the beginning. Program sometimes stops. No indication of where you are in the podcast. Also demands access to almost all the phones data and location. Uses too much battery. Cant understand why location is needed to play podcasts.

This app does not function well. if you switch apps or pause the app for too long the app loses track of where you are at in your current broadcast and then button on the broadcast timeline doesn't work to scroll back and forth in time in the broadcast to get back to where you were. You end up having to start from the beginning.

LOVE the show, hate this app. I have a verizon samsung s10 plus. I hate how the live radio starts when you open the app. App also quits working and doesn't save my spot in the on demand show when I hit pause then try to resume. the slider doesn't work to move later into the show Update: 2 months later nothing has been fixed on this app. they don't even care.

can no longer backup or forward podcast... Then it'll just die and I have to start the podcast all over listen to what I've already heard.. pretty much sucks where the old podcast app I can go back and forth no problem.. I have the same cell phone for the last two years it is an Android and like I said never had this trouble before period. Frustrating

I downloaded Red Eye radio app because the station that played Eric and Gary only played commercials. It started playing commercial loops. I went crazy having to hear about nasty toe fungus ten times every break. My coworker even got tired of me complaining about hearing about it all the time. I had to go back to Iheart radio.

The buttons on the bottom of the app are almost in the same place as the buttons to control phone. I have Galaxy S10 plus. Can you move them in the next update. Other than that the app seems to work fine.
