Using wifi to lock or unlock is very laggy, but if you're close enough, it switches to Bluetooth and always works on Bluetooth. I am using this with Airbnb and it's great, it integrates and I no longer have to generate codes or instruct the guest... They automatically receive a message from Airbnb and are given a code that is not effective till a specific time that you assign as your check in time. I used this to replace my Kwikset wifi smart lock, which only let you set dates, but not time.

Terrible compatibility issues. I fought with this app to set up 2 locks for about 4 hours. Constant disconnects and errors during setup. I thought I'd try with another phone, pulled an old Samsung with outdated firmware out, and it worked immediately. Its ridiculous that this app doesnt work properly on Pixels.

Android notifications don't work right. There's no sound to this app, and I have "lock screen, pop-up and badge" toggled, but I only get a dot on the app, and I can see an icon at the top of my phone. I don't get a sound or pop-up. Please help to fix this. The app itself I like, because I can see who's coming and going but I feel like I can't see in real time because I'm not getting the notifications. And I checked my updates for my Android and my phone is totally up to date.

I can no longer connect to my Yale lock when on cellular. I used to be able to lock and unlock completely remotely while not being connected to local Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, but this functionality has been not available for past couple of weeks. Yale please fix this, and I will update my review.

App installation instructions is faulty: 1. During installation instructions, if phone is locked or app is switched to another, instructions are reset and need to start from scratch by scanning barcode again (very basic Android UX requirement). 2. My product is Yale 2 keyless with fingerprint, but instruction videos were for keyed installation which are different! 3. Takes too much time to connect to the decive. Yale- #1 and #2 shouldn't take more than a week to fix. Please do so for newcomers!

The app mostly does what I expect. It shows the status of the lock and the position of the door (open, closed, etc.). It lets me lock and unlock the door. It tells me when someone else has unlocked/opened the door. It alerts me if the door has been left open. It's slow to connect when I open the app. It won't show the current health of the batteries. It warns me to replace the batteries when they are still good. I can say I replaced the batteries and it will still be fine for several months.

It works and I've not encountered issues using the app but it could be better. Biggest complaint is there are NO WIDGETS. One a is setup, vast majority of the time I am only opening the app to (un)lock a door. I should be able to add a home screen widget to so this. How can this be a feature in iOS but not on Android which has supported widgets far longer? One setup gripe is if you are doing something that takes a minute, you can't leave the app else you'll lose your progress.

For the most part, I have a seamless experience with my Yale keypad lock. Sometimes it gets a little finicky but usually it's my phone that ends up being the problem. That being said, it's wonderful being able to arrive at my house and hear the door being unlocked as I approach. You can't ask for a better experience when it's working (95% of the time)🤙 Edit: to those that have issues with the auto-unlock... It's usually the phone that is having the problem. Delete and reinstall fixed it for me
