Dear Economic Times Team, I am writing to express my disappointment with the increasing paywalls on your platform. I understand the need to generate revenue, but as one of the major pillars of democracy, news should be accessible to all. It is disheartening to find important articles and sections locked behind a subscription, especially when ads are already present on the site and app as well. I believe there should be a balance between monetization and public availability to news.

Dark mode at last.😏 Prime Read is irritating. 👎 Keep it in a separate section. Annoys with sign in pop up window often. Why does it need access to location, know APPS ON PHONE? That isn't how a news app works. Or is it info collecting app? Some sections open as webpage which makes them impossible to bookmark! Can't copy text! No read aloud.Seems like u r not interested in making it user friendly. Expected much but it's useless. Simply eats space. Fix these soon. better to just visit website.

ET Prime has gone bad with ads being shown to paid subscriber base. This is against the promise of ad free platform for paid subscribers. Can we remove ads from ET Prime subscribers. If you need to show ads, then launch a new pack with lower price like hotstar or other OTT platform

Maximum of the news content are locked and the subscription fee is way too high. This is basically a pay and use news app.

When reading a story in the Top 20 stories to catch-up, many times when scrolling down through a story, the swipe down is perceived as a swipe left by the app, and it takes me out of the article and back to the summary page. Then when I swipe right to open the app again, I need to again scroll down a lot to continue reading the article from where it had gone back. Pls reduce the sensitivity of left swipe, or in case someone opens the story again, it should open where it was left. Very annoying!

The app is really good. I love the interface and its format. Its simple and easy to use. My only suggestion is if, an integrated feature of highlighting different word amd search its meaning, could be incorporated. It would really help reading the news more comprehensively. 👍
