Not the best. The app hadn't updated content for weeks, despite me having a valid digital subscription. In desperation, I uninstalled and downloaded the app again, to find a shiny new version. Now it tells me that I do have an account, but not a valid digital subscription (the website says otherwise). A help request suggested clearing my cache, which didn't help, I think I'll be cancelling my subscription.

Useless, couldn't log in despite having a subscription which lets me into the web version without problem, using same credentials. Will uninstall. Update - The National responded to my comment saying that if I have a Digital Subscription access should be no problems. Unfortunately no mention is made of this in the supporting info on play store. I only have an online subscription, which I believed was digital enough to get the App going. Clearly not.

Despite my having used the app successfully for many months, it has suddenly decided that I don't have a subscription (I do) and won't let me in. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, to no avail. I continue to get normal access on my laptop 🥴

The app says it recognises me but says I don't have a valid subscription. Well I do have a valid subscription which lasts for 3 months. I won't be renewing it as it's caused me to waste so much Time trying to rectify the problem. A shame as I like the newspaper 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Couldn't get this app to work, even though I have a subscription. The support explained to me that it's actually The National news reader app that I should download, which I did and which is working well. Maybe Newsquest could make this clearer!

The app will not recognise my login details. I contacted the help service but, after 1 email from them and me supplying the details they requested, I heard nothing. No amount of prodding helped and no response was received. The National is vital to a providing a balanced media but the paper is being let down seriously by pagesuite. Time to go back to the website. Such a pity.

Cannot even login but can on the Web version. So many issues it's ridiculous. Have complained several times but still having continual problems.

The only Indy paper available, and only for those that can afford it. The bigger picture of sharing articles is dead in the water. So much for building a cause and movement.
