This is really one big advertisement; SO MANY ADS THROUGHOUT THIS APP, and many are next to impossible to close without completely closing the app. The developer allows adds with a small "x" which is a fake close icon. I'm an adult, I don't need ads for stupid childish games. If you want to have an option to purchase the app at a reasonable price that is fine by me.

App is riddled with ads. When opening or leaving an article, an ad is displayed. There are fake articles that are ads between other legit articles, there is even always on ad at the bottom of the app. I understand the developer needs to make money, but I have never seen an app this bad that tries to get as many ads as possible into an app. I do not see a paid version either that is ad-free.

Allows deceptive full screen ads impersonating OS updates. Check your baggage developers. The ad showed up after backing out of an article. I don't have a screenshot and have Uninstaller the app. The full screen ad said there was an android update with yes and no buttons and nothing else. The only indication it was an ad was the small ad icon on the bottom left corner.

Very good mix of news sources. Allows you to reorder and bring your favorites to the front.----- I spoke too soon. I've downgraded my rating from a 5 to a 3. Now this app forces "Most Recent" to the front which contains all the news you don't want to know. Back to update my review to very good. I can get rid of most recent. Very good source of the latest news without the politics.

it was alright to read with 5 sec ads in the old days but now after latest update 30 second ads are annoying because this programs idea was to read several tech blogs quickly. I dont like new program, and i dont recommend

Do not use. All it does is index news and open a webview. You keep clicking on add+cookie banners. There's ads every few clicks - and those that fill the screen, take seconds to dismiss and blast music. It uses a strange webview (could be me) which, I suspect, doesn't get security updates. I'm getting strange ads tricking me into installing stuff. I suspect they're not coming from websites like Wired. Poor usability. Plus other reasons.

Update. Developer responded quickly to the issue and it's corrected! Loving the app again! I used to love this app but the frequency of full screen timed ads has radically increased lately. And now I frequently see ads that don't count down and cannot be closed without closing the entire app. I used to LOVE this app but am getting very close to uninstalling it. FRUSTRATING!!

It provides many tech topics from a variety of view points so you're never given a totally biased feed. You can choose which outlets are curated; I personally based mine off of what language the sources were in. There are ads and I really wish that there was a subscription service to get rid of them because the app is great at what it does: offer tech news in an unbiased way.
