I really like this app. An improvement they could make would be to have the individual break down of words for each phrase, in addition to the entire phrase. This would help a person slowly start to build their own sentences and see how sentences are built grammar-wise in Lao. Otherwise, great for learning phrases and such, but not neccessarily for if you hope to become a fluent speaker.

Earlier I would have given 5 stars but they took away the split-up of the sentence in its words and replaced it by a worthless slow talking. The split up was the one thing that made this app so much better than the rest.

When people tell you that the sound is inaudible for the number and time/date section you should take this into consideration, not infantilize your users as if they would not know how to turn up the volume on their own devices. Your app has issues, this is only true for this app and not your other language apps. It's completely irrelevant that you used a professional studio with a native speaker if the sound is inaudible. So please take the critique of your users to heart instead of trivializing their reviews, and fix this app, until then I can't give you more than 1 star.

Great Application. The only negative is the Expat component that I paid extra for and it didnt deliver. This should include a section on general communications expats need to have with hired help, gardeners, guards, nanny's, cooks, cleaners.. please make this happen so we can chat to our lovely staff. Most expats arnt simply here to pick up a bride🤔

Super annoying app, it speaks to you the words you want to learn, but then the sound stops and doesn't return. It is just frustrating! If you offer something it should be working, otherwise it's better not to offer it and waste people their time.

A few small errors but in general a good app. Lao voice recordings are high quality and that lady has as clear an accent as I've heard. Very genteel Lao!

Good basics, good vocab range. The spoken pronouciation is fast and the slow option doesn't seem to make much difference.

Speaks too fast and not too clear. Recording sounds muffled as if in a room that echoes and not very clear. Need to speak slower and record more clearly.
