Tato aplikace je klientskou aplikací systému DoPřírody!, který je bakalářskou prací Michala Jakla a byl zpracován pro Katedru aplikované geoinformatiky a kartografie Přírodovědecké fakulty Univerzity Karlovy v Praze. Celý systém sestává ze tří základních komponent - databáze přírodních objektů (oblasti a vstupy do nich), výpočetních algoritmů a modulů pro vyhledávání a práci s daty a v neposlední řadě klientských aplikací (webová prezentace a především tato aplikace).
