עמוד ענן - המדריך השיתופי לידיעת הארץ, הוא פרוייקט חברתי ליצירת מדריך טיולים ואנציקלופדיה גיאוגרפית לידיעת הארץ, ככלי למטיילים, לתלמידים, ולאוהבי ארץ ישראל.
האפליקציה מציגה את המיקום על גבי מפות טופוגרפיות בתלת-מימד, שעליהן למעלה מ-70 אלף (!) נקודות עניין הכוללות תיאור של מקומות ואתרים בארץ.
מצאתם נקודת עניין חדשה בעיר או בשטח? הוסיפו אותה! כל משתמש יכול להוסיף נקודות עניין ותמונות ולעדכן את המידע הקיים ישירות מהטלפון הסלולרי או באתר האינטרנט. האפליקציה מתעדכנת בכל הפעלה. ניתן להעלות קבצי מסלול באתר והם יופיעו באפליקציה. הקלטות המסלול מסתנכרנות באופן אוטומטי לעמוד האישי באתר.
ניתן לרכוש מתוך האפליקציה מפות סימון שבילים רשמיות של החברה להגנת הטבע 1:50,000 ומפות שביל נט מקצועיות 1:25,000. המפות יותקנו במכשיר, וניתן יהיה להשתמש בהן ללא צורך בקישור לרשת.

The help desk walked me through to successful installation. All works fine now. Only problem is that it chews up the battery. So I take back what I wrote originally: "Terrible. Doesn't work. I switched from a Samsung s5 to a Samsung a50, installed the latest version, it doesn't come up and doesn't respond. Used to be a great app for hiking, orienteering. Not anymore ."

As a tour guide who does a lot of hikes this is an invaluable app. Too bad it has soooo many bugs. For example in previous versions it would crash and get frozen frequently. The new update is more stable but now search doesn't work and 3D display has disappeared. I use it to prepare hiked but is don't feel I can rely on it in the field since it's not sufficiently stable.

I used this app in the past and it really helped me out. I downloaded it again for my next trip and its just stuck at the opening screen. Seems like they've been working on updating the system to support android 9 in 2019 and havent updated since. Really sad that this app isnt usable.

Cannot get my points of interests in the new version, only routes i can see... Devs, please, if you have not plan to develop the new version, please rollback. The first version was rich by features, but the new have so much issues and just not useful. I still leave very positive feedback in hope this app will be great again

The app works fine. However their support response time and ability to resolve a simple password reset is the worst service I've ever encountered with. I paid for the basic map but cannot use it! So you should expect a nice navigation app but don't have any expectations for technical support!

Had a great experience with the app, I also purchased shvilnet maps extension but since the last update the app is stack at the opening on green screen on android 9. I wrote to the support team, but there was no solution, they just told me to uninstall and re install as I did, but it made no difference. Still trying to reach the support team for solution but they are not replying back.

This was my second favorite app in the world. Second to Waze. I use Waze to get to the hikes and I heavily and very happily used Amud Anan as my trail guide during the hikes... until I got Android 9. Now Amud Anan either gets stuck or it throws me out altogether. The app gets 5 stars when it's working. One star when it's not. Upgrade to Android 9 so I can once again give you 5 stars!

Very good app, however stopped working with the upgrade to Android 9. Turned to support but no reply for quite a while now. New version is now partially supporting android 9. Excellent, awaiting further updates!
