It is a good app to book tickets as a youth but there is always something wrong with the internet connection. Sometimes after I fill all the items and click "Book Now" button, a page saying "connect to explore, check your internet connection and try again" appears. I have checked the connection and I am sure that there is nothing wrong with my connection. I even tried to used VPN but still the problem is not solved. Please help me (maybe not only me) with this problem and many thanks in advance.

Generally good but recently has stopped showing previously selected seat number on booking and also, once checked in, on the mobile boarding pass. I have to trust it is on the system somewhere and ask the gate agent what my seat number is. (This has happened my last 8 flights.....)

One of the better airline apps. Works as it should. It could be better though: it should inform about departure gate changes immediately and seat selection at check-in time should not be available only for extra cost. It wasn't like that before, this changed in 2023. This is in any case the airline's fault, they are being cheap in service while not cheap in pricing.

Sxammed me 650€! Don't use chat! Always call them and record your call. I asked how much my extra bags will cost and that I could not buy it because I have connected fligh. They stated I can buy it at the check in counter. I asked multiple times are you sure and they replied "yes yes 95e". Well just got to the airport and at the couter lady says "it's 650e, the fee is per kilogram. And she also stated always call, never use "easy to solve problem" chat as it's not saved, all calls are recordet.

Unfortunately, the app doesn't seem to work very well on Samsung. I have gone through the steps to check in, but the final page which should have said check in was successful just displayed 'Not found'. Turns out I did check in after checking on a web browser. Requested boarding pass to be send to my email. Within the email, it said I can access the boarding pass directly by clicking a link - sadly, that also resulted in "Not found" error.

One of the best airline apps compared to Lufthansa/Qatar, etc. One thing that could be improved - possibility to view older trips.

An airline app where your bookings disappear without explanation and you can't find flight status is actually quite worthless. Ironically I mentioned this to the woman at check-in at Helsinki recently and her response was that no airline app shows flight status (um, wrong and I showed her examples). Then she explained that she didn't need that functionality because she works for finnair at the airport to which I said well that's wonderful but maybe customers do. This airline is clueless.

A good and functional app. Can now request seat upgrades via the app. Where changes to bookings cannot be made. Just contact Finnair customer service. Has worked well for me. First time used app to check mutiple boarding cards for my family, all worked as planned.
