I'm going back to Kijiji to find rides! Poparide has ruined my new year's eve! They limit you to 5 messages per day! I have tried for 3 days and can't secure a ride with the new limit. I loved this app before and it was a game changer. If someone comes up with another rideshare app everyone would jump over quick. I don't think Poparide understand psychology very well, this move leaves them venerable to losing all they built to competition... Bring it on!!!!

I was using poparide for almost 2 years both as a passenger and driver. And there was no negative rating from any of the passengers. But all of a sudden my account got blocked and I did not get any warning. Till date I dont know why the account get blocked! Was a great app earlier. But now with restrictions it is going to be more of a hassle.

Been using the app for about a month or two now, and overall it's been a positive experience but I have some pretty big issues with the service. As a driver, the app forces you to charge an extremely low fare and doesn't let you charge extra for pickup/dropoff at specific locations that may be slightly out of the way. I realize they are bounded by regulations on this, but it just doesn't reflect the reality of a service like this. I should be able to set the fare per passenger, not just per trip

Not sure what's wrong but when I copy an old ride, it says I need to set the price to $15 or lower when everyone else is $17+ and my previous ride was $17. Maybe some bug but needs to be fixed. Great app besides that. Edit: It says "Please enter a maximum of $15" with a recommended price of $15 but everyone's price is $17+ so, I want to set the price to $16 or $17 minimum. It's a bug which needs fixing. It was for a trip from Barrie, Ontario to Toronto, Ontario.

Whenever I enter my Canadian number in the app to receive a message from the driver, the app automatically detects it as a US number, which prevents me from receiving the verification code. As a result, I am unable to use the app. Additionally, the help center and bug report features are not functioning

Used poparide as passenger and driver, really enjoyed it and referred so many friends but I got final suspension without a second chance,it was first time to know about that breach.My mistake I did same thing a driver did with me.I was never given a second chance or a warning.I was blocked few hours after I asked about the suspension due to miscommunication.I hope they could just give me a second chance now I knew about that app rule. No instructions on the app for support.I hope they help me

Avoid this app!! I was scammed. The driver never showed up or responded. Driver contact details are hidden but says verified!! The app is allowing scammers to register as drivers. There is no way to verify legitimacy of drivers. Drivers does not respond to in-app messages and they do not share their location!! Left stranded in the middle of the night and in the cold with no help. One can not get refunds upon reporting a scammer. Avoid this app.

Super convenient and has okay the added option of traveling safer with drivers who have registered with their license and other identifiers/ have received and given reviews.... basically like an Uber in between cities.. excellent concept that actually works.
