This app really sucks. Cannot log in, cannot use "forgot password" feature, keep getting "an error occured try back later". Total garbage compared to U .S. airline apps which actually work. Guessing Iberia is a budget airline. Edited: Now that I got in it sucks for English speaking people. They ask for "destination address" under USA. I am flying to Europe. App is slow. I provided my Global Entry Number when checking in and did not get TSA pre check. App is slow and other issues. GARBAGE!

21 Dec 2022: the app keeps giving an error message when I attempt to check-in and introduce the emergency contact. I've tried different things but nothing works. It seems useless to me. Also the web gives the option to check-in but then it doesn't work. Edit 27 Dec 2023: the glitch has been fixed and I successfully can complete the check-in for my flights. I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the app is a bit slow. This is a big improvement!! Edit 25Jun2024: HORRIBLE, app gives error

This app fails at the most basic of things as an airline app. While attempting to check in, I had to deal with confusing prompts, errors, and slow loading screens. After an hour of this, I conceded and used the website to check in. In doing so, I somehow managed to select TWO separate seats for my flight. I hope I have a seat at all when I arrive for my flight later today. This frustrating experience is enough to discourage me from flying Iberia in the future.

Filled out on-line booking forms and received several messages " incorrect information" on the personal passenger profile page. Finally, after multiple attempts to enter the same correct information it finally accepted it. At the end of the process I checked the box to save my credit card information and hit "FINISH" .... and nothing happened. After several tries and no ability to move beyond "Finish", I unchecked the "save card info" and only then could I finish. But the email had wrong price

Awful app. Went to check my seats and during the process it eliminated my chosen seat completely. I had to pay for another one. Also when checking in, it won't accept my emergency contact. It's like the app doesn't speak to the same server that the website does. Nothing is synced. Horrendous experience. I'd give it zero stars. Negative stars.

The Iberia Airlines app is a textbook example of bad design. When the app opens, users are forced to sit through a lengthy process where the app displays a modal airplane animation while the app attempts to connect to back end servers, which usually times out. A better design would be for the app to open and present a functioning UI while performing all communication with back end servers asynchronously. (When traveling recently, none of Iberia's passengers were able to use this app.)

I fly with Iberia about 6 times per year and I hate this app. It's never been improved and it's a roll of the dice whether you will be able to successfully check in. If you are lucky enough to check in, good luck finding your boarding pass in the app. It used to be easy to find but I have no idea how to access it without checking in all over again.

This app is really frustrating. Two big issues so far: 1) I cannot check in to my flight to the US. "The authorities at this destination require a valid emergency contact. Please check the information you have entered and try again. I've entered a valid us phone number for the emergency contact. 2) The app has implemented text forms in a poor way. Any time entering a number, the app switches my phone keyboard back to letters. Also, typing text too fast causes it to miss keystrokes.
