the app is tricky to set up for my Dehumidifier, and worst of all, the text is so small, even on my larger screen phone, that i cannot read the humidity percent text, even after tapping on the device to open it. the animated picture of the dehumidifier takes up very little space, and i feel like they could have moved the icon to the left with the power button icon, then put the text info about it to the right in larger font. otherwise all the control buttons are there, same as on the device.

Just splash screen. App wont open. I have lost access to my devices. I want to remigrate back to the app that worked fine. Edit: the reply below is obviously a stock response, but I did all the steps that I could (logging in is pretty impossible when the app won't even start, let alone deleting devices, given the app has never started). Will email the address given, but don't have much hope. Very disappointed, and I'm wasting so much time for such a stupid thing that worked perfectly before.

This app was easy to install. And it does work. Although, when I changed the humidiy level - it didn't change on the Midea Dehumidifier. In reading the Midea manual - you can only set the Humidity level manually when the "set" light is on. I had the "Comfort" light on!? The app should tell the user you can't set the humidity level manually unless you select the "set" option.

Nicer app, more features, but not good. Slow response time. (Update:) Did all the troubleshooting, no improvement. Now, both my window units shut off completely at the same time for no reason. I have already processed a request with customer service. I can't help but think this is caused from the new app. Went back to the old app, by using my husband's email instead of mine, and they still shut off, whatever caused this has probably trashed nearly $800 in a/c units.

Bring back the old midea app. Was pushed to update to this new app. Now I can't go back. It's way too slow trying to connect to my AC devices. A few times it took almost 10 seconds to connect to a unit before I can finally change settings. I've had times where it doesn't connect at all so I have to close and reopen the app. The 2 stars are just to credit the fact that the app serves its purpose.

I love the functionally and so the products this controls, which is so easily done right from my phone. I have a dehumidifier, and when purchasing, I thought "Do I really want or need the function to download an app and control every cycle and feature while hooked up to wifi?" 3 months later, answer from day 1 was YES. 💯 % best humidifier IVE EVER HAD. Great quality. Also, this app is vital for all conveniences for it and all the other products it controls. Easy to use, therefore, I Iove it.

I was able to easily connect to my Midea Dehumidifier after transitioning from the Midea app. I am able to easily check status, and power the unit on and off as well as adjust settings. But I am unable to get push notifications of any kind when the water tank is full. It shuts off as designed but I get no push notifications so I have no idea that it shut off. I have to manually check it 3-4 times a day to see if the tank is full yet. I have checked that notifications are all set on my phone.

CALLS

This app transition/update basically gave my air conditioner a mind of its own. Almost every day we find our air conditioner on some weird setting, or we wake up in the night to our AC on eco when we did not set it to that mode. Is the interface pretty ? Yeah - but my AC is not the same any more. I have tried messing with the favorites and it does not matter. Woke up again today with the AC arbitrarily set to the maximum temperature when we have never changed it. Garbage app.
