Pros - easy to setup. Price is reasonable considering there is no lock in. Cons - service is unreliable. Have used this on 4 separate occasions while visiting the US, twice in LA and twice in/around Greenville SC. Each time has gotten progressively worse. The most recent time it because very unreliable to the point that it would drop out for minutes at a time with no network available. I think next time I will be trying my lick with a different service.

Worked ok on a surface tablet, did not on unlocked phone. The poor rating is based on their lack of support. The preselect issue are mediocre, and past them it has "Contact us". Well when you click that, you cannot actually contact them, but it just circles around back to the main menu. Nowhere can you actually contact anyone within their website. The app is even worse, it gos to the web and then asks you to download the app when you try to use the contact button. No support=unusable.

I have used this app for over a year and on the whole, I'm extremely happy. The only reason I did not give it a 5 star, Is that the process of buying a top-up package If you're going back into a country can be confusingand you can end up with a different SIM for each package you buy. It can be very confusing when you travel back and forth between two countries. Their tech support via WhatsApp is outstanding though.

Easy to use, reasonably priced, and as long as you can follow instructions, the esims work perfectly! I also suck at following instructions, so don't feel bad. The first time it took some tries to get it right... just read all the install instructions first and save the headache. The 2nd and 3rd esims were 3 or 4 clicks, and I was ready for my trip!

We are taking our first trip to Italy. We are an older couple with no knowledge of mobile services, esims, etc. But we needed reliable service throughout our trip traveling by train. Reviews and travel videos led us to Airalo and we could not be happier! Smoothest transaction, setup, and activation. We never lost coverage. I'm updating my 1-star review because, after deleting my eSIM (I'm using Airalo in Spain; I live in the US) and reinstalling, things seem to be working more or less as expected. I have data service when I'm not on wifi (I'm able to, eg, make contactless payments using my phone). I was disturbed by how the service was working at first, then suddenly stopped. But deleting and reinstalling seems to have restored its functionality.

Airalo was really easy to use and made international travel convenient. eSIM installation was a little unclear at first, but once I figured out where to get started, it was simple. I will be recommending this app! Related to the eSIM install: I'm on a pixel 8, and the most confusing step was setting up the APN. This was my 1st time with eSIMs, so being unfamiliar didn't help, but the instructions were the most unclear at that point. Recommend setting up with a service rep in person.

eSIM worked great in Japan! There were times when it said I had 5G, yet nothing was loading. Though this only happened twice the entire two weeks that I was there, and only for 10-15 minutes. The only other issue I had was trying to load the app in Kyoto to check how much data I still had. Loaded just fine afterward when I got to Osaka. Highly recommend using this for Japan
