한양도성은 조선 왕조의 수도 성곽으로 1396년 건설되었는데, 이곳은 그 남서쪽 구간에 해당됩니다. 일제강점기 세워진 조선신궁으로 인해 일부 철거되고 땅 속에 묻혀 오랜 세월 잊혀졌으나, 2013년~2014년 발굴 조사를 통해 100년 만에 그 모습을 드러냅니다.서울시는 190m에 달하는 발굴된 성벽 유구를 그대로 보존하여 역사성을 살리기로 했으며, AR 기술을 통해 완성된 형태로 복원하였습니다. 이 밖에도 함께 발견된 조선신궁과 분수대 관련 영상도 함께 관람할 수 있습니다.
