This app needs a lot of work. No way to rename homes or delete them. Thermostat connection to Nest does not work. Getting three units connected to WiFi took hours and had to reset units multiple times. Two stars because some of most basic functions did work such as forcing the fans to go on or off, albeit not with expediency. Please fix the app!

Works well & app is constantly being improved. Thank you!! Update nearly 2 years later: a bit buggy at times if wifi goes out. Have to manually unplug device to re sync. Other than that, works great. Never had issue controlling fan through app (I have 2 pairs) and nest integration has always worked. I had 2 fans that began to wear out and the company sent me two new ones. Overall very happy with them.

User of 1 year. Vent Fan works. App is bad 1. The connection process takes forever 2. The company advertises that it connects to Nest thermostats, but it's a lie and it doesn't. 3. The scheduling feature is not intuitively programmed. Your start time has to be before the end time. I can't have it turn on at 6pm and turn off at 8am. Needs major work.

Junk. Both the product and the app. App constantly forgets login, randomly deletes rooms and devices. Product features say it syncs with Smart Thermostats but I assure there is no feature to link it to your thermostat..either Nest or Ecobee. Product only connects with 2.4ghz network so if you have a dual band router forget it. Refuses to connect. Must use the worst/cheapest wifi antenna available. Avoid avoid avoid.

States on their site and Facebook connect with nest but there's no way to do it. Please contact me to tell me how or update and fix the app. Update. Fan would not turn off from app. Had to reset and haven't been able to sync again. If you have a router lole Google wifi that broadcasts 2.5 and 5g without ability to turn one off you'll have a horrible time trying to connect this

Stay away from this. Mine is bricked, I can't log in, I can't recover my password. Also, when their server was down I couldn't control my fan. If the company goes out of business, or changes its terms of service, the fan becomes useless. At max setting the fan is noisy, but powerful. If the fan could be controlled without the need to connect to their server it would be a good product. Devs please fix.

Yes the app needs some updates, but the fans DO WORK!! Have 2 installed and set to eco mode. However there were some issues with the fans turning on when cold air was coming in through some drafty windows. But the SmartCocoon team quickly released a new version that fixed the issue.

Non-existent integration with smart thermostats. Connections are terrible to WiFi. Suddenly, custom run times just randomly disappeared, so now I can't even run the fans in the morning when I think my system will be running. Absolutely horrible. If I could leave zero stars I would.
