Well... The new app hasn't started well! Doesn't recognise my login details, password reset doesn't work! So far TOTAL FAIL!! Time to get on the phone. Sort this out urgently Tracker. EDIT.... So I can now report that Tracker seem to have updated the app. Had to reset my password, but I now have access. Good on tracker for the quick response, still disappointed that the app was not fit for purpose when it was originally released.

I've just tried to locate my car with this app. Although I can see it on my drive in Bolton, the app shows it to be close to Hayes in Middlesex. I then tried to protect my vehicle and was told this was not possible whilst the car is in motion, which it is not. When trying to exit the app, I also found this to be very difficult. I don't have any confidence in the device. Edit, Today I've been informed there's a problem with my device and a technician will be in touch to remedy the fault. I'l reserve judgement until it's fixed. After it was determined I had a faulty unit, a new unit was fitted and eventually configured for my car. Everything now works great so I've revised my score.

Upgraded the app. Couldn't log in at first - resolved via Customer Service. Can't see my vehicle's location - clicking "Google Maps" option opens the "Uber" app. Can only set a Geofence by searching for a location on the map instead of just setting it around the vehicle, wherever it happens to be. Need to disable Geofence and Safe Mode (whatever that is) before moving the vehicle instead of just one click in the old app. Renewal due shortly - they've just lost a customer.

Works OK most of the time, ring-fence notifications are a bit hit & miss - sometimes they come through fine, sometimes they appear a couple of hours later, occasionally they don't happen at all. Also, you can only get notified by email, not by proper app notification which is annoying. Nearly a year without an app update - about time this was fixed.

Since this update the mapping seems to be inaccurate. With the old app record of journeys was a useful tool. With this version the journeys are not logged accurately and the interface is far less intuitive. Considering the premium paid for this device and having seen what it could do I am now very disappointed. Due for renewal in 6 months and I will be looking for an alternative provider.

Terrible app. new tracker fitted. registered my device. apparently my car is on the move as well as being parked at Tesco Express. I am neither driving or at Tesco Express. I am wanting to protect my car but the app won't let me. Both my car and I are at home. I am very disappointed and not impressed at all. To be honest I feel I have been conned, and actually quite cross. Ridiculous app.

Was hesitant to upgrade to the new app as I had a feeling that there would be an issue with it. My suspicions were correct! New app fails to recognise my credentials even though they are being entered correctly. I would urge other users not to update otherwise you risk being completely locked out, like I am now. Poor testing Tracker!

Upgraded the app. Now the Tracker Portal doesnt send me texts when the vehicle is started! Also, what is 'safe' mode..? Certainly doesn't send an alert message when vehicle is started. If I hadn't got the Tracker unit already pre installed as part of the vehicle purchase deal I'd have ripped it out ages ago. This company are unbelievable!
