UX has much potential for improvement, unlocking the car is very slow, standing by the car waiting around 30s is annoying. Shown 0km all time, no idea how long our trips were. Also the charging card in the car was broken, had to use the terrible esb app each time we need to charge. On the other hand the whole car rental business is so utterly terrible that ufodrive is probably the best there is. Even if nobody checked their faq or contract content. At least support is fast and okay-ish

I was impressed by UFODrive's model first but the app registration was such a barrier, the registration requires taking photo of id and license but the camera does not capture what is in the frame on the screen. Support function on the app would just went in to a lag and didn't come out. Can't give any more 2 stars. Gets 2 because the actual booking process was seamless (up to confirming the booking - which i didn't complete).

Great idea! The app is a complete disaster though. The design feels very rough, like a prototype, not a real product. Some elements do not work, some behave weirdly. The FAQ section is useless: the app simply crashes when I try to open any item. Attaching pictures in the support chat does not work. No notifications from the chat. After I created a booking, each time I launch the app, it says “unexpected error, contact support” (but then seems to be working fine).

App needs improvements. I couldn't add another driver nor a proof of address. I had to contact the support for them to manually update my account (was with the previous app version) In the new one, there is a check so you have to wait quite a while for the buttons to appear. This is annoying especially when you just want to get something from the car. Maybe using a caching mechanism could help? Otherwise the customer service is very responsive and helpful, and the car is awesome!

App is quite janky on pixel 3 (camera function a bit spotty), but entirely compesated by the amazing customer service! They were there to help every step of the way, really great. A bit pricier than other car rental options, but you very much get value for your money with an amazing customer experience.

I really want to see this company do well but I've been let down on a few occasions now. Two of the last three rentals have had tyre pressure warnings on the car as soon as I turned the car on. On one of those occasions even after I pumped the tyres to the recommended level the warning still wouldn't go away so after an awkward time trying to get through the support guy had to send me a YouTube video and to figure it out myself. My most recent rental had constant warnings about tyre tread depth.

they want way to much personal info to rent a car in my case since i am a full time traveler now. they have no locations near my departing airport to return car to. its a small start up so i can sort of see the problem but gatwick is a pretty major hub now and is probably a good place to have a rental location in the future. had to drive 49 miles then take a train back to the airport I'm leaving from which is nowhere near the place i landed at in london. the pickup option was not allowed as i got no reply from the help desk person when i requested it. the people working the help line need training on company policy's I guess as I had to contact the country manager to rent the car in the first place.this was a review of the company as a whole not the actual app itself didn't really have any problems with the app.

Downloaded the app. Checked the prices. Compared them with conventional car rental prices (including fuel, insurance, and other "hidden" fees) -----> deleted the app. I want to see a service that finally kills traditional car rentals, who are practically thieves. But, this solution is not it, sadly. UX looks top notch, but prices are beyond belief. Back to the drawing board (i.e. business plan)
