As of the version in October 2021: if I try and log in (for reward search) I always have to do so twice. If I try to switch app to get my card details out of my password manager, it resets me back to the search page. Still get the "you appear to be using multiple browser windows" error, even within the app (this has been here for years, it's not difficult to trigger it). It's poor. The whole customer experience is far behind competitors.

From Champagne to S**t. A once great and reliable app that could check in easily, download or access boarding passes, has for the past 12 months or so frankly been unusable. Slow at every step. Won't allow me to check in for the past year's worth of monthly work trips. I have to check in online or through a 3rd party app which checks in fine. Once checked in online or on the 3rd party app, when you select "get my boarding pass" on the BA app all you get is a loading screen.

Doesn't work even for the most basic tasks. Keeps asking me to log in multiple times, doesn't recognise my luggage allowance, the check in process is completely broken and it doesn't even display my boarding pass. It used to work really well in the past but now it is unusable. I can't understand how anyone can publish such a blatantly broken app. What kind of tests did they do!?!?! BA, if you want to pride yourself on quality get this hot mess sorted out! Shocking!

The app constantly throws up errors, loses flight info, won't let you check in, can't find boarding passes, and randomly restarts itself. This is atrocious from an app that people would like to rely on when travelling, often when no data or wi-fi is available. I wonder if anyone from the app developer has actually tested this in real world usage? Just look at the average rating compared to other airlines' apps that are all 3.x and 4.x, this is barely 2. Update Nov'24, worse if anything. 0 stars.

The British Airways app has several issues. Payment often fails if you switch to another app, making it hard to complete transactions. Boarding passes sometimes don’t show up, which is frustrating for travelers. You also have to log in twice, which takes extra time. The app needs improvement to be reliable for travel.

This app has really gone downhill. I have used this app for many years and used to find it very helpful and very efficient. For the last couple of years it has error after error after error. Lots of things don't load. Every time I do a search it tells me there's a problem and it can't go on. It constantly refuses to load my boarding passes causing me lots of issues at the airport. The app is no longer fit for purpose. And nobody seems to be doing anything about it. I would avoid the app!

Awful app Travelling with my kids, I can't even download their boarding passes. Solution is to go to the kiosk. Well if I wanted to go to the kiosk and wait there with two kids for ages then I would've done this in the first place. Don't bother downloading an app. I'm so surprised that airline that is much more expensive than the budget airline has a worse app.

The app doesn't work properly! We sucessfully checked in on the app when flying from Munich to Heathrow but the app wouldn't show our boarding passes. At the airport there were no staff at the desks and they had no self service kiosk so we could print our boarding passes. For two hours we tried to get someone to help us print the boarding passes but no one could help. We had to spend over £600 for new flights and a hotel. When I complained to BA I just got told to use the app the next time.
