This has become a terrible app. Need to take many photos of the car before using it. Need to pre pay 30€ to use it, and go through secure 3d with your bank. Things load slowly. Now to get a car you spend 10 minutes in front of it to answer all the questions and setup everything. Before it was click to unlock. Before you could get 5€ credit for plugging the car in a charger, now? No! They want us to put their cars for free. Oh, if you want to change your pin code that unlocks car, you CANT! NICE!

Good when it works. Frustrating when it doesn't. I've had rentals ended prematurely, gas fill ups glitch the car and make it undrivable, connection issues where I can't end the trip. The worst part is that when the app messes up, the company holds you responsible. Once the trip spontaneously ended while I was parked in a hospital and the car became un-rentable, and their customer service couldn't fix the problem. They charged me 150€ in fees for their problem and refused to refund any of it.

Good concept, but the app is designed like a scam. When arriving at our destination (we only drove within Rome to the main train station), the app told us that we "need to be in a home area". We had to call the service hotline for someone to be able to confirm that we were in fact in a home area and did everything right. We then got "refunded" the ride (it still booked off the 15€ sign up value), but had to buy another train ticket costing us 95€. Cannot recommend for anyone with a schedule!

I was charged €40 for a car I didn't use because reservations are now automatically extended for 4 hours. Looks like they changed this setting without communicating it to customers. The website still reads: "You can then reserve the car for 20 minutes for free, giving you enough time to walk over to where it is parked. If you need more time to make your way over to the car, you can extend your reservation time in the app for a small fee."

Be careful with hidden fees only written down in the fine print even though it says something else while renting a car in the app. The support is only doing as little as possible so both issues haven't been completely solved. Don't want to experience it with a more serious situation. I've have been a long time user but currently switching to miles.

Terrible experience with Free2move. I want to share that I was scammed by this company. I've been trying to reach their customer service for over a month with no response, which has been extremely frustrating and unprofessional. Basically, I rented a car that I was not allow to use because the company policy in the NL doesn't allow it if you don't have a driver's liscence for more than a year. I have paid for the rental and got a confirmation and I was denied to get the car and no refund.

Used to love the previous version and was using it several times a week. Now, every time I'm confused by the pricing. It'll say something like "total" with a km fee - and then still add a "base fee" after the total? Confusing - and then I just go for Sixt instead.

1. Keyless: new vehicles with keys to be fetchted from the glove compartment is a step back 2. Reporting need of oil change or the like is not seamlessly possible via the app 3. Just like outside damages can be reported, the app should include functionality to report trashed, dirty cars 4. Quality of the fleet has been downgraded while prices have gone up 5. Cars in Paris are incredibly dirty and not well maintained, smaller cities like Düsseldorf fare better 6. App is getting less reliable
