* Simplified Home Screen – The App’s main screen (now accessible from the new ‘Home’ tab) simplifies rider navigation for quick, effortless access to all application features.
* Easier agency Location – We have replaced “metro areas” with a new agency selection experience to make it easier for riders to locate an agency near them that uses Umo. Agencies are now clearly listed and sorted by nearness to the rider, ensuring that riders select the correct, intended transit agency when they create an account and purchase fare products. Please note that not all transit agencies use Umo and only those that are available for selection in the App are supported at this time.
* Improved Payment Flexibility – Easily buy transit passes or add money to your wallet in the app. Enjoy the unified wallet, convenient payment methods and easy viewing of fare details across agencies. Riders can also now delete their payment method at any time under ‘View My Account’.
* Contactless Boarding – The updated version of the App now has quick access to the dynamic QR code used to board from the ‘Code’ tab as well as via ‘Show Code’ links strategically placed throughout the application for faster fare payment.
* Real-Time Information – Umo uses real-time data that provides timely and highly accurate bus tracker or trip planning for those transit agencies that support this functionality.
* Trip Planning – Intuitive navigation for easy journey planning in the App.
* Enhanced Ride History – Riders now have access to more ride-history details, including month-by-month or an abbreviated history directly from the main menu for easy tracking and management.
* Accessibility – The updated Umo App is fully integrated with VoiceOver on iOS and TalkBack on Android devices, providing an accessible and seamless navigation experience for visually impaired riders.
* Localization – Umo supports English, Spanish and French languages. Simply adjust your Settings to your preferred language.

It's still garbage. Not all bus stop info is available, for example... You can see the bus stops for the college, but the stop that is near the Summerglen apartments isn't available. You can't just click on that one, you have to basically backtrack that math on when it's coming. Including, when you do click for information, it doesn't show how far out the bus is. The other version, was much better and you could actually see how far out the bus was from your location.

Was working (barely) until this morning, now it won't open at all. Reinstalled and it opened briefly, then as soon as I selected a region it crashed again. Customer supports response is to get the card instead, great promo of their own app! Useless

Go to sign up for account. Password requirements say you have to include a special character. I let my password manager app include symbols. Umo tells me I am using forbidden characters but doesn't tell you what they are. I repeat the process a couple times trying different passwords and get same error...

The app keeps getting worse and worse. The original app was useful and relatively easy to use. Now you can't plan ahead. IE trying to plan a long trip with an arrive by time for a future date doesn't work. The times aren't available, a bus route is missing, and the a tells me that it's going to be a trip that lasts more than 2.5 hours when I know that it takes 2. There's issues with replacing CC info. This app is a waste of taxpayer dollars. Edit: add money to your wallet but it's by Google Pay

The app hardly ever opens, just spins and loads for endless periods of time, and when it does occasionally get past the loading screen it fails to log me in to my profile with no option to log in. Might end up being FORCED to get the card instead, which I understand isn't a huge deal, but it is an inconvenience at best.

The app prior to the May 29, 2024 update was more useful. Now, I don't have the ability to save my routes and there is no way to see the schedule of other routes. How is one to plan his/her trip on public transportation without the ability to view times for a route? This is one of the, if not the, most important item for folks utilizing public transportation. 09/17/2024 - when will your update include the actual schedules for the routes? This is a must have. It's not simplified at all!

Update ruined the app. It's so much more confusing to try to get bus arrival times at a station. The app doesn't tell you what direction the arriving bus is heading in, and forget it if the bus has a split route. I miss the original MCTS app that would let you choose your route, then show you where all the busses were on a map so you could see how close the bus is.

Latest update got rid of tons of useful features. Trip planning? Forget it. They even removed the faq about it. Saving a favorite station? Nope. Wanna see what bus to take to arrive somewhere at a certain time? Byeeeee. Payment works though. Edit 8/2024: the new favorite feature helps a lot with functionality! Just let us name favorites, rather than forcing us to use "home, work, and school" as the names.
