WiFox is a continually updated map of airport and lounge wifi passwords from around the world. In map view, you can tap any wifi icon where wireless information is available, and use the button to copy the password to the clipboard. The map is available offline (when you download the appropriate Google Maps) so you don’t need an Internet connection to use WiFox when you’re traveling.

*Click Copy to easily paste passwords into wireless network settings.

*Users can also add passwords they find from airports around the world. Those passwords are then sent to foXnoMad for verification and approval before they are added to the map.

*In ‘List View’ you can update passwords for airports already added (when you’ve noticed some changes). As you travel you can also rate the wireless hotspot information to let us know if the details worked for you or not. Based on traveler feedback, the connection information is updated, verified, or removed.

*WiFox icons indicate how fresh, reliable, and highly rated a given airport wireless network’s information is.

*WiFox is updated continuously with information travelers, pilots, and other users send through the WiFox app, foXnoMad website, and foXnoMad Facebook and Twitter accounts. WiFox currently has wireless Internet information for over 350 airports around the world.

*The map is updated automatically upon opening the app (when you have Internet access) or by clicking the ‘Update’ button on the map or refresh icon on the List View.

*WiFox also protects users on free (open) wifi networks by telling you the proper network name, so you don't unintentionally connect to a rogue or malicious access point.

What's New

* Fixes a bug with popups on certain devices.
* Fixes a bug with notifications on some free networks.
* Other efficiency updates.

I cannot recount the amount of times WiFox has been useful to me. Given that I regularly travel, having a database of airport WiFi passwords, searchable by location is incredibly helpful. The developer is friendly, approachable and very helpful. Truly worth every cent, highly recommended to all!

Recurring subscription fees to bleed consumers dry ad infinitum, for something that one uses maybe a couple times per year. What is more, the annual fee would be steep as a one-off purchase price -- paying such a ridiculous amount every year begs the question whether the programmers need to have their heads examined by qualified professionals. Buying the app once and for all at half the price would be o.k, but until the developer comes to his senses, this greedy milkingware was uninstalled.

very handy app if you travel a lot. All wifi credentials were correct in my experiences. The rating system allowing you to give feedback is also cool.

Almost every airport has Free wifi, I just bought the app for Istanbul Airport because there it isn't free. Surprise surprise, every password was incorrect. Useless app.

Most of the networks shown on the app either do not exist, or the password is wrong. A long connection in Panama felt even longer.

Hello! It still crashes and restarts when trying to select an airport after tapping "add". It still works to see whatever is reported already though.

Great app, very useful. It worth its price and if you have any issue, the developper answer very fast. Thanks a lot, it helps my travels.
