Was a great service. In the last 12-18 months I've frequently found bays either fully occupied or completely empty. Their redistribution approach needs to be revamped to keep the service running efficiently.

Terrible rebranding of the app. I don't mind sponsors, but please don't change the name & the icon ffs.

Downgraded to 1 star since this issue occurs on every use at the location. I have one complaint to do with the location services. I generally grab a bike from the new central bank and often enough the app places me at the opposite side of the river. This is fine as I can rent the bike from the kiosk, but it's inconvenient. My position on Google maps is correct so I don't know why this problem occurs.

Honestly, this is a very good service. Have been using for a year and have had 2 instances where the lock didn't recognise the bike and the app thought I still had the bike rented. I called CC, they checked and cancelled my trip. Bikes are in good knick and the app works perfect. For the money you pay, it is an exceptional service imo.

Great improvement from the previous versions. + Being able to unlock a bike straight from the app kills the queues of people at certain stations during peek times (5 PM in areas where it's mostly businesses and offices). + GPS used to crash on some Nexus phones. Now it locates your position immediately after app is open. + Rating the quality of each bike helps a lot to choose the best maintained bikes at a station. I personally stopped using 3rd party apps to compensate for lacking features.

Are you a tourist in Dublin? Don't waste your time with these bikes. The stations are few and far between, the quality of the service (maps, app, and ease of access) is very poor, and you'd be better off using public transit or uber. As a regular city cyclist I'm disappointed in the quality of Dublinbikes. Will not be using this next time I'm in town.

The app works ok. Sometimes, it crashes, but it's not the end of the world. the biggest problem is in the payment. It is not explained clearly how it is done leading you to error. I bought a daily ticket worth 3.50 (theoretically, I could walk 3.3 hours with that price), and after a few days, I received another charge of 6.50. In total I paid 10 euros to walk 1 day. I sent an email asking about it, and they told me everything was fine. Bad payment experience.

Terrible experience. Has never worked for me when trying to release a bike. Just spins around forever. Had to close the app and use the station and my card, old school. Pointless having an app that won't do what you need it to do. Don't bother, you're better off with the auld card.
