This app and the physical gate are consistently broken. In South Melbourne, several times a month I'm stuck in a queue with other cars. One-by-one each of us fails to connect and reverses out to find an alternate car park. A technician needs to be sent out each time to reset it. With the parking fees having recently been raised, I question why the app is still not yet fit for purpose?

You have to choose how many hours to park and you're better off choosing longer and stopping because if you have to start a new parking session it will not add on. Except when you go to stop the parking the app was crashing. Odd that when I managed to to stop my session in the one second I had before the app crashed afterwards reopening the app to check it cancelled that section miraculously was working fine now and showing no active sessions. Seems to be a malicious bug to make people pay more.

Unreliable. 1) This app will not work if you choose the location option as 'Allow while app in use' because it always want to use your location. So you cant choose that this app can only use location when in use! 2) If a user has entered/ exited using different method other than app then how you can time it? 3) Mostly app is clunky when it comes to its actual usage - i.e. open the boom gate. 4) Very inconsistent for the functions it tries to show on app. 5) Weird of all, when contacted support team to notify in good faith, I don't think it was through. I hope its just my feeling and they have picked it up. I can see similar comments so I am sure its clear. Android 10 +

Please fix as the latest update has made this app unreliable. Previously a 5 star app. Some days it won't connect to my regular carpark barrier meaning I'm forced to pay full prices as there is no way to exit at that point! Happens at least 2 or 3 times a week. I have a corporate deal so not impressed. Seems to be an issue with location services. I'm on Android 11, Samsung galaxy S21+

This app is trying to replace something that doesn't need replacing. Maybe if it even worked it would be acceptable in the lowest form - but beware you'll spend 10 minutes sitting at the gate, troubleshooting how to get it to open, when it could has just been a simple code, like most carparks still use. Would not recommend any company or individual try and use this app.

Frequent glitches with managing began different vehicles for one car park. Website version has no obvious login button to do it off app. Frustrating when I end up getting a ticket because of Ubipark fault

Search function is awful. I search Melbourne and it puts the map on Sydney. Also if you view the details on a park (after painstakingly dragging the map from Sydney to Melbourne because it reloads as soon as your finger comes off the screen), and then go back to browse other parks, it resets the map location back to Sydney.

I chose to park for a certain number of hours and the app told me about the related charge, but then I got charged the full day rate and learnt that I had to choose to stop the session manually. Why does the interface allow me to choose the time and reflect the price, then proceed to ignore that and only stop if I choose to do so manually? That's misleading. Can you either get rid of that stage or stop the parking according to the time I've chosen to end the session?
