NorCamp is a comprehensive camping guide for Scandinavia (Denmark, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Norway, Poland, Sweden ... since 2024 also Estonia, Faroe Islands, Latvia, Lithuania), covering both well known locations as well as smaller, hidden away sites. It's an one-man project and all data is collected and maintained in cooperation with campsite owners and NorCamp users.You can search for or show all campsites near your location on a map (Google Maps, OpenStreetMap or offline map) and get detailed information about them such as address, email, website, phone number, photos, reviews, price range and number of cabins and rooms. You can also submit reviews for a campsite, rate it, or upload photos. The project lives from the support of its users.
The following list shows which permissions are required by the app and the functions for these.
Internet: Synchronizing basic campsite data, downloading photos and reviews, working with the map
Media/Files: Caching of campsite pictures and map elements
Location: Working with the map, calculating distance to a campsite
Call: Calling a campsite within the app directly
Contacts: Adding campsites as a contact to address book
Invoice Service: In-app purchases (e.g. for advertising deactivation)

We are currently offering version 1.40. This is our latest, most optimized version. It is suitable for many different devices. Free download directly apk from the Google Play Store or other versions we're hosting. Moreover, you can download without registration and no login required.

This App is awesome! Using it while i'm hitchhiking around all the scandinavian countries and it just shows you every single campsite in the country you're in at the moment. It keeps getting updated and u see exactly if the campsite has opened or not. If u go to scandinavia for camping, this app is a MUST HAVE!!!

We used this app in Sweden and Norway during our tour in July '23. It is fantastic and made our tour more enjoyable. Each lunchtime we would pick a campsite based on the amenities there and make a phone call to book. All info was up to date and accurate.

Very useful while doing a roadtriptrough Norway. Shows most campsites, including many not on Google maps, shows it's felicities and other relevant info, and is accurate.

App works well for finding campsites, but functionality isn't optimal yet because there are very little reviews. Prices per night would also help. (used in Iceland)

Very nice and handy app! I compared a few alternatives and this was the best. Just wish the premium was a bit cheaper :/ Btw everyone must contribute to update the data for each place to make this even better!
