The JAL app is now available for all flights and for both JMB and non-JMB members. Please download the JAL app to make reservations and purchases for all flights.＜Main functions＞
1.Home screen
Display of reservation
Reservations for flights will be displayed on the home screen.
*Flight status will be displayed for flights up to the next day.
Information of JMB member is displayed (when logged in).
2.Reservations
You can make reservations for all flights.
3.Timeline
By tapping the flight information on the home screen or My Booking, you can view more detailed information about your itinerary in chronological order according to your reservation and flight status.
The display will automatically change according to the time and number of days until departure.
4.Flight Status
You can check the flight status by route or flight number.
For international flights, you can search for two days before or after.
5.Notification of flight status and reminder of reserved flights
You can receive notifications of delays and cancellations, as well as reminders for flights that are less than 24 hours away from departure.

App is very annoying for non-JAL members. The app doesn't let you add reservations to "my bookings". Every time I try by confirmation number or ticket number, I get the error that it's unavailable. It shows up fine on the JAL desktop website. I am a One World member, too. (American Airlines Gold, One World "Ruby" status.) Please fix. The only thing that works is online check in and saving to Google wallet. I've never had a problem retrieving and displaying bookings on other airline apps!

Terrible app. It doesn't even let you locate a confirmed reservation. Even worse, as opposed to saying something like "unable to retrieve reservation" it says your reservation was canceled! Which, of course, makes you rush to your desktop computer to verify everything is okay. Utterly horrendous app.

The worst app ever. I cannot find my bookings under my name or flight number or reservation number or e-ticket number. It is very random. And after half an hour I finally randomly got into my reserved ticket the app does not remember my ticket. I have to enter my flight every time to get updates. Absolutely incredible as to how horrible this app is for the volume of people who uses this on a daily basis. Sad for the executive staff who have never used this app before to book their own flights.

Poorly designed app. Unlike many other airline apps, you CANNOT enter a flight confirmation in order for it to populate the app. You have to do a search, which is useless. I purchased a flight through my credit card travel agency and I have the flight confirmation for JAL, but I cannot search for it or enter it manually into the app. This is 2023, get your act together. The App developers should look at Alaska Airlines or any American airline app as an example of how it SHOULD be done.

There's no way to see your booking in the app if you bought it through an agent. This is probably the most important function an airline app can do - unbelievable.

Very frustrating app. Doesn't save my information. Have to have a good internet connection which is impossible to find at an airport. Had to wait in line to print a boarding pass because the app was so bad

It appears that when searching for a booking, the departure date is limited by today's date, but in Japan, not in local TZ. This is a bug preventing users from adding flights to the app if they board and east of the international date line.

it works- but when you didn't find what you need & trying new search, everything is disappearing & you got some message on Japanise about some loading mistake 😞
