Finding things to do in new places can be tough. We got sick of searching for things to do and finding the same results each time. We wanted local travel knowledge, the walks, waterfalls, swimming holes and viewpoints that we didn’t know existed. But finding these, let alone getting any reliable information on them to plan a New Zealand road trip wasn't easy.So Roady set out with a mission to give travellers easy access to local knowledge, no matter where they are.
After years of travelling around the country capturing content and learning about these places, we’ve built a travel app that includes our favourite spots and key information that we would have wanted in one place.
You can tick off experiences as you travel the country, earning badges and climbing the leaderboard along the way.
By ticking off an experience, you’ll create a record of your travels on your profile map. Upload a photo, leaving a rating and sharing a tip to provide your own local knowledge for others.

Roady is phenomenal! It provides you with 100's of great locations, many that weren't in any guide book that we originally came to New Zealand with. I spend hours on this app, it's very easy to use and a great tool for planning ahead. Highly recommend Roady for anybody visiting New Zealand or western Australia for any period of time.

Seems to be no way to make a route and have it just show what you like along route. Without paying money up front for something that seems pretty incomplete I'm not going to continue. Deleting.

Unfortunately like most apps and business models it appears everything is now locked behind a monthly pay wall subscription. Still easy enough to Google search these locations, but it was much more convenient having all that information in one place for free. Great app otherwise, would rate 5 stars if it were free.

It's a good app definitely missing some mean places. Has a few dumb features, it's abit upsetting how you can't unlock certain locations.

Nope! Terrible app! Amazing idea 💯 but it's missing so many great places in NZ, really disappointed about this.

Un-installed minutes after installing. Great idea, but there are no special locations beyond what a 30-second google map search could find. It is very odd that well-known spots, some are even on state highways (lake waihola), are locked as a destination spot that you have to pay to view?! Seems like a money grab to me :(

Seems like such a great idea. But search didn't work at all. Points of interest near me came back with no results (I'm in Auckland) and, although I could access the map, I cannot select anything. I'm really not sure what the point of this app is. Development team: please reminder all my info from your database as I am unfortunately deleting this app.

Editing my review as Roadyz immediately fixed their issue from July. I love the app. Easy to use. Easy to understand. Very comprehensive Waiting for them to add more stuff for smaller towns like Napier as the app continues to grow. Love it . Good job
