I really like the e-bikes, it very handy to quickly move around the city. I'm just sad that the bicycle basket and the bike coupling (so bikes can charge each other) are gone in the new double seater. Also I think the brakes aren't strong enough for the weight of two people on this new model. The app needs some rework, a lot a time I'm a little lost (why is the map blue here ? Why does some bike appear grey on the map ? How to suggest ideas ? How to delete your account ? ....)

No solidarity prices for all the poor ! Overpriced : 8 km 30 min 7.60€ Because of the timer cost, guys drive too fast and take risks to save money. Not safe. Report bikes doesn't take action by moderators, useless reports. No option to disable the cam flash to avoid polarized effects and see nothing.

Good, but poor instructions on how to start. kick 3 times, what does that mean? What they actually meant is push it manually to build up speed before you turn the accelerator with your right hand.

SCAMMERS! Be aware of this service. They will charge you 10e for each bike to unlock and in the most cases bike stays LOCKED, but you will have to wait for refund for DAYS. Poor customer service also!

I really enjoyed this app to start with. Having used it in Oxford for several months in the summer, I paid for a subscription. Now I am having difficulty cancelling it because of the rather dishonest UI which makes cancelling very hard to do. There are virtually no more working bikes in oxford, and i have been charged 4 pounds (maximum fee) several times because the bike I borrowed would not close properly. Cool design is nice but please work on a service that functions well also. Disappointing

I was willing to support this local bike sharing network over the much bigger (globally-operated) alternative. Have used it for 4 times and decided to uninstall the app. They can keep the deposit. The issue is that the bike simply can't unlock, not once, not twice, but every single time. At the same time the app starts counting time and charging you. Hardware problem -- fine. But then there is no way to notify the app that the bike didn't unlock! And you can't end the ride in the app -- the way to end it is to physically lock the bike, which is not possible given it never unlocked in the first place. There's a rather convoluted way to end the ride through "Help" (plus a few more buttons and then taking a photo, reporting the bike's location, etc.), but by the time you finish they already charged you for like 5 minutes when you haven't even touched the bike. These appear to be small issues, but in a competitive world this is what what it takes to kill a company. No wonder you hardly see anyone riding their bikes anymore, when plenty are riding their competitors'.

I've been using Pony bikes for about a month now, and this rating is more for what the system could be, rather than what it is right now. There's still quite a few problems with the app, but compared to what it was like even a couple months ago it seems to be improving quickly. I had some problems initially, particularly with getting bikes unlocked. But the support team actually replied and fixed the problem, so seems like they actually care about making things better. The bikes themselves are much better than the competition in Oxford, although you do still come across the occasional dud. The chain seems to be a particular weakpoint, so make sure to check it before you unlock. My main criticism now would be that the app is very sluggish on a mobile internet connection. I usually try to connect through wifi before embarking on the bike quest itself - if that's not possible, it can be up to a five minute wait between starting up the app and unlocking the bike. Individual trips are also quite expensive, but a monthly plan is only £8.50 which seems to be much cheaper than most medium-term bike hire options.

Useless app. Every single time I've used it, I've had to factor in an extra 10min to compensate for technical errors: failure to display the bikes on the map, overcharging for hours even though the bike has been locked, etc. Walking is quicker. The idea is good, but the app is amateurish and unreliable. I will try Mobike instead.
