I can no longer recommend Solis. All of us now use a lot of data per day. I bought a day pass and I was getting in the 40s Mbps download which was OK for my teleconference (I'm traveling). However, it didn't take long for the speed to drop to .41 Mbps which is useless. IMHO, Solis has become too expensive for what you get. I don't have time to try and estimate how much data I need for 24 hours and obviously it varies each day. I need a reasonable price and speed (consistent) per a day pass.

Awesome app and service. I travel the world for work and have not been home for more than three years. Connectivity is a must!!! This service does not disappoint. I could do what I do without it with adde dificulty and frustration, but why? Solis makes my life so much easier with seamless internet. I have found very few locations that don't have Solis connectivity, and those few remind me how much I rely on this service. Thank you for a fantastic product and service.

FOR THOSE THAT ARE HAVING CONNECTION ISSUES WITH SOLIS LITE: clear the storage/cache of the Solis WiFi app, turn it it off for AT LEAST 10 minutes and once it can connect again use the SignalScan. My Solis Lite has consistently has trouble connecting after crossing a border (Italy to Austria) even though the signal is good, customer support isn't that great (typically suggesting basic things like turn it off and on again). Bad reviews were actually way more helpful in figuring out what to do.

I work remotely and purchased the Solis LTE as a backup for my network and while on the go. I tested it on location away from my home office. So far so good. I worked 4.5 hrs straight without interuption. I did have a few points in time after where my signal was lost and my Solis was taking it's time to reconnect but that's to be expected with any device using a cell tower. I believe I was throttled down at that was the cause. My solution. Buy 2.

This is one of the best products I have purchased in a very long time. Perfect for the wifi coverage I needed to run security camers at a house I am selling in another city. This Hotspot was so easy to set up, and ready to use out of the box... same with the Solis phone app, which took maybe 2 minutes to set up and use. I love this product and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fast, affordable, portable, and very reliable wifi solution.

It's a better than nothing device. I've used it on 7 international trips. It's slow yet better than nothing. The biggest issue is customer service. Cusomer service appears to be very skilled at informing you of their inability to do anything helpful or provide service to the customer. My techincal issues regarding service, payment and refund issues, and promo code issues were never resolved and the staff displays non-caring attitude. For these reasons, I plan to replace Solis.

I've been testing Solis Lite device for a month now at a remote location. I am using it as hotspot to monitor 4 security cameras and a smart thermostat and a bunch of smart lamps and plugs. A total of 8 devices. Everything has been working perfectly. The connection has been great and solid. I recommend not using cameras with cloud subscription because they use a lot of data to communicate with cloud severs which causes the data of Solis to go down fast. Get the cameras with SD card for storage.

AMAZING device. I've traveled all over the world with and without Solis and I am so disappointed I didn't learn about this earlier. I will NEVER travel without Solis again. It works anywhere, has a strong signal, the gigs last long AND it doubles as a powerbank. What more could you want? I went to Egypt for 10days on 9gigs and still had some left over. Fantastic device!
